A difference between a time from an operation time of a reserved time setting mechanism 14 to a process completing time and an operation time stored in the memory 19 can be set to the short immersion time for running by delaying the running time of the washing later than the operation time. If a time from the operation time of the setting mechanism 14 to the process completing time is shorter than the shortest immersion time, the running of immersion time 0 is adapted to be immediately performed. The immersion time corresponding to that stored in the memory 19 is selected by a CPU 16 to stir the washing.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a series of washing and drying processes such as optimum washing, rinsing and drying to be performed with high quality thereof by judging an amount of the washing in a rotary drum with a control unit on the basis of a measuring signal of a water meter to automatically perform a series of washing and drying processes such as washing, rinsing and drying according to requirements adapted to the amount of the washing. CONSTITUTION:A water supply amount is measured by a water meter, and a CPU 17 calculates a difference between a reference supply amount and an actual one on the basis of a water amount measuring signal after the completion of watersupply. An amount of the washing in a rotary drum is judged on the basis of the difference between both amounts. The judgement of the washing amount is performed on the basis of the relationship between the water supply amount and the amount of the washing. That is, said relationship is input in a memory 20 and the CPU 17 judges the amount of the washing from the difference between the calculated water amounts on the basis of said relationship. Thus, by judging the amount of the washing on the basis of a change in the supply amount of washing water, it is made possible that the amount of the washing can be judged in consideration of the volume and water absorbing property of the washing can be judged.

Then, since the sucking-up part 7 is positioned upward and a flowing-in port 8 is positioned downward, the washing water sucked up to the washing water route 6 flows down through this passage 6 and flows from the flowing-in port 8 through a lint filter 9 into the rotating drum 2. Since the circulating washing water flows from the flowing-in port 8 through the lint filter 9 into the rotating drum 2, lint mixed to the washing water can be caught, removed, cleaned and guided into the rotating drum 2. Thus, the washing water is effectively utilized and washing quality is improved.

    • PURPOSE: To eliminate a vibration which occurs even after a loosening rotation and to automatically adjust the rotary balance of a rotary drum by providing a rotary position sensor, a magnetic fluid and a movement control means. CONSTITUTION: The magnetic fluid 14 which is stored in a guide cylinder 13 so as to be freely movable and is used as a balance weight is formed by mixing a fluid with magnetic powder, the movement control means is constituted of an electromagnet 12, an output control interface 16 and a central processor 18 and the rotary position of the rotary drum 5 is detected at first in case of the loosening rotation. Then, when the lowest-order electromagnet 12 is turned on at a prescribed position and successively on-controlled by synchronization with the rotation of the rotary drum, the magnetic fluid 14 stored in the bottom part of the rotary drum is attracted by the electromagnet and moved upward together with the rotary drum. When it comes to the top part of the rotary drum, the number of rotations in the rotary drum is changed-over into the high speed one and controlled, and then, a dehydration process is started. Therefore, the occurrence of the vibration is restricted so that the balance of the rotation is kept in an excellent state.

Besides, the water level in the other tank 1 is detected by a water level detecting means 15 and an operation mode at the time of washing is selected by a switch 17. A controller 16 controls the water level to be one of the high water level or the low water level in accordance with the mode selected by the switch 17 and also controls the rotation of the spinning tub 8 and the stirring blade 11 in accordance with the water level. That is, the various kinds of washing methods are enabled in accordance with the quality of the washes by the combination of the reciprocative movement of the stirring blade, the rotation of the tub and water level control in the tank.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce noise caused by automatic washing in a midnight time zone by providing a midnight course controlling means, a revolution control means controlling the speed of dehydrating revolution to be a prescribed speed of revolution and an operation means setting a dehydrating time to be a time for obtaining a prescribed dehydrating degree. CONSTITUTION: A course is selected by press-operating a power source switch 11a. In the case of selecting a reserving course, a reserving course switch 12 is press-operated and a reserving time is set while looking at a display part 13. In the case of selecting a midnight course, a midnight course switch 15 is operated, and an optional washing mode is selected by a selecting switch 14 according to the kind of the wash and its degree of dirty. Thus, a controller 5 controls the start/finish of washing in the midnight time zone and, after washing and rinsing in the midnight time zone, dehydration at a speed of revolution of 700 rpm is executed for about 15 min as low noise dehydration. At the time of executing low noise dehydration, its noise level is lowered by about 10 phone compared with that of daytime washing to be the degree of 58 phone and washing operation becomes quiet.
