Therefore, the photosensitive drum 4 disperses many developers in a wide area part compared with that when compared with that when a residual developer has an effect on grinding at the time of the cleaning, and can supply them in a state where they are stuck well to the surface of the photosensitive drum 4.

Therefore, power is transmitted from the driving gear 45 of the device main body to the driven gear 43 connected to the developing means in the image producing cartridge 1 so as to directly drive the developing means 11 whose weight is great and whose driving load is heavy. Thus, the supporting of the developing means is simplified and the casing of the image producing cartridge is thinned and lightened.

A rocking lever 45 is rocked in a direction shown by an arrow with the loading of the cartridge 1, and the member 44 is retreated in the retreat recessed part 3a of a waste toner casing 3. By pulling out the cartridge 1, the lever 45 is rocked by a torsion spring 47 and the space between the photosensitive drum 4 and the roller 11 is perfectly closed by the member 44. Thus, a device main body and the peripheral part thereof are prevented from being contaminated by the developer leaked out in the case of loading/ unloading the cartridge 1.
