Thus, in the thick fuel mixing chambers 65a and 65b, the highly thick fuel air-fuel mixture is diluted by thin air-fuel mixture flowing in the thick mixing chambers 65a and 65b through communicating openings 69a and 69b to produce thick air-fuel mixture. Thus, though it is simple in constitution, air-fuel mixture having three kinds of fuel concentrations can be burnt.

In addition, a fuel jetted from the first rich fuel combustors 17 is thermally decomposed by second rich fuel flames formed in the second rich fuel combustors 20 to generate an active intermediate product, which is supplied by diffusion to the bases of the lean fuel combustors 14 to form 'high- temperature and high-reaction areas' for active burning reaction in minute spaces in the base, so that combustibility is improved.

At the time of shutting-off this equipment, in addition, the occurrence of an offensive smell can be suppressed, because no condensed fuel is left.
