CONSTITUTION:A battery is composed of a negative electrode 1 consisting of Li, a positive electrode 2 consisting of cylindrical carbonic porous compact, a cavity 2a to quicken injection of electrolyte 4, a separator 3, electrolyte 4, a vessel 5 made of stainless steel, a battery cover 6, a cover body 7 made of stainless steel, a circular insulating layer 8 made of glass, a positive electrode terminal 9 made of stainless steel, a positive electrode current collector 10, a bottom isolating material 11, a top isolating material 12, and an electrolyte injection port 13. After injecting electrolyte 4 from the cylindrical injection port 13 into the battery, a sealing plug 14 is press-fit into the injection port 13, and then the opening of the bottom of the injection port 10 is covered with a sealing plate 15 made of stainless steel, and the periphery is welded to the bottom 5a of the vessel 5 so as to seal it.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a flat sealed battery capable of the long term usage and having the high sealability by pressing-in a revet shaped sealing body, which consists of a shank and a head part having a diameter larger than that of the shank, in an electrolyte filler hole of a battery vessel, and welding the outer peripheral part of the head part to the bottom part of the battery vessel. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical or taper tubelous electrolyte filler hole 12 is provided at the center of a bottom part 5a of a battery vessel 5, and after the filling of the electrolyte, a shank 13 of a sealing body 13 is pressed-in the electrolyte filler hole 12. Under the condition that the electrolyte filler hole 12 is sealed by the shank 13a of the sealing body 13, the outer poripheral part of a head part 13b of the sealing body 13 is welded to the bottom part 5a of the battery vessel 5. Thereby, at the time of welding of the head part 13b of the sealing body 13 to the bottom part 5a of the vessel part 5, the vaporized material is not leaked out to the part to be welded so as to enable the secure welding without a pin hole, the electrolyte filler hole 12 is perfectly sealed and the battery having the high sealability can be thus obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the pulse closed-circuit voltage property, by furnishing a lithium alloy layer at the side opposing to a separator of a lithium layer of a negative electrode, and making the space rate of a positive electrode at a specific value. CONSTITUTION:In a lithium cell with a negative electrode active substance of lithium and a positive electrode active substance of a mixture of iron sulfide and copper oxide, is furnished a lithium alloy layer 3b, which consists of a lithium alloy made electrochemically from lithium and a metal to be alloyed with lithium electrochemically, at the side opposing to a separator 4 of a lithium layer 3a of a negative electrode 3, and moreover, the space rate of a positive electrode 1 is made 40 to 57 volume%. The pulse closed-circuit voltage property of a cell increases the reaction area of the negative electrode 3 side, and when the polarization of the negative electrode 3 side is reduced, then, the pulse closed-circuit voltage property is controlled by the polarization of the positive electrode side. Therefore, the pulse closedcircuit voltage property is made to improve by converting the space rate of the positive electrode 1.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp display having a high coloring density by forming a metallic plating layer on the transparent conductive film in the lead terminal attaching part of a display electrode substrate without staining the content in an electrochromic display element in the stage of the parts of said element. CONSTITUTION:A protective film 8 consisting of an SiO2 film is formed by forming the transparent conductive film 1b consisting of ITO on a transparent glass substrate 1a, patterning the same to form the display electrode substrate 1 and masking 31 the peripheral edge thereof. After the mask 31 is removed, a photoresist film 32 is formed on a protective film 8 and a mask 33 consisting of a self-adhesive tape is disposed thereto; thereafter, a plating layer 5 is formed on the transparent conductive film 1b in the peripheral edge part of the display electrode substrate 1. Since plating is executed in the stage before the formation of the electrochromic material layer 7 on the display electrode substrate 1, the staining of the electrochromic material by a plating bath and resist film is obviated.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the titled element having a less tendency for generating a colored unevenness of a display surface and having a low production cost by forming a sheet from a kneaded material of a ceramics followed by sintering it to form a background material. CONSTITUTION:The background material 1 is prepared by kneading an alumina powder of the ceramc material, a binder and a liquid component, and then forming the obtd. kneaded material 1a to the sheet 1b thereof by a roll, and by punching the obtd. sheet with a press to cut it to a rectangular shape followed by instering it. The spacer 10is fixed on the display electrode substrate 3 of the display electrode 2 with an adhesives, and the background material 1 is disposed in a hollow part lying in the inside of the surroundings of the spacer 10. The counter electrode 6 is disposed to the background material 1 such that the counter electrode substance layer 8 faces to the background material 1. The spacer 10 and the counter electrode substrate 7 are fixed with the adhesives and then, an electrolyte is poured into the prescribed hollow part from an inlet of the electrolyte which is previously provided on the spacer 10 followed by sealing the prescribed inlet with a sealing plug, and by fixing the sealing plug with an UV ray curable epoxy resin, whereby the prescribed inlet is enclosed, and the titled element is assembled.
