    • PURPOSE:To get a high recovering rate of argon and perform a control of a stable operation by a method wherein a pressure of argon is detected as a temperature of a main condenser by an air separator for adjusting an amount of nitrogen in gas supplied to a crude argon column for taking argon from it in reference to a temperature difference between a middle part of an upper rectifying column and a main condenser, its saturation temperature is calculated and controlled. CONSTITUTION:As a temperature of a middle part of an upper rectifying column is detected, a temperature at a point B is detected. A temperature of a main condenser is calculated by detecting a pressure at a point A. This temperature difference is set in such a way as a concentration of argon in a feeding gas is kept as high as possible and an amount of included nitrogen is less than its allowable limit value. If the temperature difference is set to 10 deg.C, for example, and an operation for decreasing an amount is changed to an operation for increasing the amount, a pressure at a main condenser of the upper rectifying column is increased. If this value is increased from 1.4kg/cm abs to 1.6kg/cm abs, the temperature of the main condenser is varied in its saturation temperature from -180 deg.C to -178.6 deg.C, so that the temperature controlled value at the middle part has a constant temperature difference, resulting in that it is varied from -190 deg.C to -188.6 deg.C. With such an arrangement, it is possible to increase a feed gas composition and to perform a high recovering and stable operation for argon.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate switching shock and to prevent pressure fluctuation by gradually decreasing an output amount to one flow control valve together with the passage of time after switching time and adding the decreased part to the output amount of the other flow control valve. CONSTITUTION:When an adsorption tower goes into the latter half of a reproducing process, the target value of a uniform response is changed over to 0% side. The flow of reproducing gas is converted to an electric signal by a transmitter 11 and an operation output amount to a valve is determined by a flow controller 2. A flow control valve A6 becomes a LOW selector for the output of the equal velocity response and the output determined by the flow controller 2 and since this values is gradually decreased together with the passage of time, the flow control valve A6 is gradually closed. On the other hand, since a flow control valve B7 defines a value, for which only an output part to the flow control valve A6 is subtracted from the output determined by the flow controller 2, as a valve opening degree, the flow control valve B7 is opened only for the closed part of the flow control valve A6. Thus, since flow switching is smoothly executed while fixing flow, the pressure of a reproducing gas line can be prevented from being fluctuated.

    • PURPOSE:To permit the control of the opening degree of a pressurizing valve through a low-speed computer, by a method wherein the complicated operation of the opening degree of the pressurizing valve is effected by a high-class computer while the result thereof is proximated to an one-dimensional function per unit time to operate it by the low-speed computer. CONSTITUTION:In a pretreatment device of an air separator, in which two or more of adsorption towers are used by switching, a time after starting a pressurizing process is employed as a variable and the opening degree of the pressurizing valve, through which the volume of pressurizing air becomes a constant, is plotted by a high-class computer while one dimensional proximated formulas are produced in respective times such as curves 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 utilizing a curve 1. According to this method, the opening degree of the pressurizing valve 9 is indicated by one-dimensional functions of only a time whereby the opening degree of the pressurizing valve 9 may be controlled by following the operating speed of the low-speed computer 7.
