    • PURPOSE:To write and read magnetic signals with the one magneto-optical composite magnetic head by providing thin films having a magneto-optical effect and a substrate in the gap part between the opposite magnetic cores of a magnetic head part and setting the width of these thin films smaller than the width of this substrate. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from a light emitting element 10 is transmitted by an output side fiber 11 and only the single plane of polarization is transmitted by a polarizing film 12 on a light projecting side. The transmitted light is made incident on a magnetic garnet film 13 through the substrate 4. The magnetic garnet film 13 is magnetized by the magnetic field generated from a body to be detected, such as magnetic tape or magnetic disk, near the protective film at this time and, therefore, the plane of polarization is rotated by the Faraday effect of the compsn. of the garnet film 13 and is further reflected by a reflection film 14 so as to be returned to the garnet film 13. The plane of polarization of the light is again rotated 45 deg. within the garnet film 13 and is made incident through the substrate 4 and through a polarizing film 15 ion the outlet side which is an analyzer on an input side optical fiber 16 from which the light is made incident on a light receiving element 17. Magnetic information is detected from the rotation of the plane of polarization of this light.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic/optical composite recording medium which is difficult to alter and duplicate for tighter security by recording magnetic information on a magnetic recording layer and realizing the display of optical information using an ink having wavelength characteristics in the invisible light range on the sheet provided on the recording layer. CONSTITUTION:Optical information in the magnetic/optical composite recording medium can be altered by attaching an alteration sheet 21 on the optical information or replacing the optical information with other optical information. However, if the alteration sheet 21 is attached, the distance between a magnetic head 22 and a magnetic recording layer 1 changes. Consequently, the magnetic signal level detected by the magnetic head 22 changes, thus making it possible to detect an alteration. In addition, if another bar code is attached, data which is read from the code is different from a genuine bar code, so that the alteration can be easily detected. Further, it is virtually impossible to interpret conditions, because part of the optical information of this composite recording medium is an invisible light range, and therefore, data cannot be duplicated.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a composite circuit board to be easily manufactured and lessened in cost by a method wherein a thick-walled conductor pattern and a thin-walled conductor pattern are provided onto at least the same side of a metal board provided with an insulating layer on its circuit forming side or an insulating board. CONSTITUTION:A thick-walled circuit conductor pattern 12 and a thin-walled circuit conductor pattern 13 are formed on the same planes of both the sides of a an insulating board 11 to constitute a composite circuit board. The thick- walled circuit conductor patterns 12 formed on the sides of the board 11 are electrically connected together through a through-hole 14, and the thin-walled circuit conductor patterns 13 are electrically connected together through a through-hole 15. In this composite circuit board, as the thin-walled circuit conductor pattern 13 is formed on the surface of the insulating board 11, it can be easily subminiaturized and enhanced in density, and as the thick-walled circuit conductor pattern 12 is formed also on the surface of the insulating board 11, it can easily be formed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the end face of a bridge from being exposed at a surrounding cut surface, to protect a circuit conductor at the cut surface against short circuit at the soldering of components, and to protect the circuit conductor against corrosion which starts from the cut surface by a method wherein a bridge between an edge frame conductor and a circuit conductor is cut off before an outer shape processing takes place, and resin is filled into holes or a groove induced at the cut of the bridges. CONSTITUTION:When a bridge 15b between circuit conductors 14 is cut, a bridge 15a between an edge frame conductor 13 and a circuit conductor 14 is cut off concurrently. A resin 19 is filled into a hole 19 induced when the bridge 15a is cut off and set. At this point, resin may as well be filled into a hole 9 induced when the bridge 15b is cut off. Then, an outer shape process in which a surrounding edge frame conductor 13 is cut off along a dotted line to remove is carried out to obtain a circuit board 20. In the board 20, as a hole induced at the time when the bridge 15a is cut off is filled with resin 19, the end face of the bridge 15a is prevented from being exposed at a surrounding cut surface, therefore the circuit conductors at both the sides are protected against short circuit and against corrosion which starts from the exposed part.
