摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the fastness of a color image to light, heat and humidity and to suppress generation of colored stains upon lapse of time after a color development processing by combining a specific compd. and org. synthetic high polymer. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive material contains at least one kind of the org. synthetic high polymer added as an emulsified dispersion and at least one kind of the compd. which forms a chemically inert and substantially colorless compd. by chemically bonding the arom. amine developing agent remaining after the color development processing or the oxidant thereof in a photographic layer. The org. synthetic high polymer to be used may be the high polymer of any polymer if the polymer is insoluble in water and is soluble in an org. solvent. The ratio to be occupied by the compd. is 1X10 -10mol., more preferably 3X10 -5mol. per 1mol. of the coupler. The color fading and dark color fading are thereby improved with good balance and particularly the excellent image preservable property is exhibited at and under a high temp. and high humidity; in addition, the colored stains to be generated upon lapse of time after the processing are prevented.

Thus, the maximal absorbing wavelength of an image forming dye is large and shifts to a deep color side, and the absorption of the color becomes sharpe, thereby making the color to sharpe, and the molar extinction coefficient of the color becomes remarkably large.
