    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which prevents foreign materials from entering a connection part with an electric wire and whose work efficiency is improved.SOLUTION: A connector comprises: a plurality of housings 11 provided with terminal housing chambers 12. Terminals 20 have electric wire connections 24, terminal connection parts 21 following the electric wire connections 24, and joint parts 23 for joining the electric wire connections 24 and the terminal connection parts 21. The connector is provided with protection members 16 for protecting the electric wire connection parts 24 by being attached to the joint parts 23 of the terminals 20 and retainers 17 which are installed in the housings 11 and can move the protection members 16 temporarily held by the joint parts 23 of the terminals 20 housed in the terminal housing chambers 12 to hold positions. The housings 11 are provided with retainer operation parts 15 which move the retainer 17 by putting one of the housings 11 upon another of the housings 11 and can move the protection members 16 temporarily held by the joint parts 23 to the hold positions.
