CONSTITUTION:A raw material solution of hardly crystallizable saccharides containing two or more saccharides obtained by combining the same or different kinds selected from oligosaccharides of preferably mono, di- and tri- hexasaccharides is heated under ordinary pressure or in a vacuum to carry out dehydrating and drying. The resultant solid substance obtained by the dehydrating and drying is then heated, further cooled and solidified. The molten solid substance is subsequently pulverized in a flash mill, etc., to afford the aimed saccharides.

Second, the resultant fragment is incorporated into the restriction enzyme-nicked site in 1acZ gene of lambda phage vector and recovered as recombinant lambda phage through the in vitro packaging technique. Third, the product is assessed by a specified color-developing means and selected, from which DNA is extracted, and then DNA clone properly incorporated with the DNA of EBV is selected, thus obtaining the objective manifestation vector. Thence, Escherichia coli is made to be infected with the recombinant lambda phage and the bacteria inviable at high temperatures is selected to separate the lysogen for the recombinant lambda phage.

The applications of such specific conjugation of the complement C1q and the agglutination inducing material include the utilization as a reagent for quantitatively determining and detecting the specific antigen held by or sticking to the cells and tissue in body fluid, or the specific antibody thereto, denatured immune globulin or immune complex, etc., and the use as a medicine for treatment to adjust the physiological function of the cells having the cell surface structure which can be recognized by the specific antibody or the cells which can capture the immune complex and complement.
