    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock mechanism for a cabinet handle, which can secure a sufficient engagement quantity by a solenoid of a short stroke, and can cope with the case where the strokes on the solenoid side and the cylinder lock side are different.
      SOLUTION: The lock mechanism for the cabinet handle is incorporated in the cabinet handle to lock a handle grip at a closed position. This mechanism includes a lock member 13 rotating around an axis 14 and unopenably lock the handle grip 2, the solenoid 20 rotating the lock member 13, and a cylinder lock 30 which is positioned on the opposite side of the solenoid 20 with the lock member 13 interposed therebetween to mechanically rotates the lock member 13. The lock can be released by the cylinder lock 30 even in a power failure.

When rotating a rotor 28 of a lock device 9 by key operation, a locking piece 29 of a locking lever 8 is engaged with a lock engaging part 14 of the base 4 to restrain the cover 6 on the base 4. The worker can confirm the locked state of the lock visually by pressing an arm 32 of an indicator 10 by an operation piece 30 of the locking lever 8 and exposing a locked state display part 35 in a display board 31 through a display window 23 of the cover 6.
