    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which can attach an optical lens to an optional position, according to a function required for a lens with the lens barrel.
      SOLUTION: The lens barrel is configured with a tubular lens barrel body 10; an inner peripheral face of the lens barrel body 10 can accommodate the optical lens 2; and the lens barrel body 10 has a tubular part 11, which configures an outer peripheral face, and an upper face part 12 which configures an end face, on a side where the optical lens 2 of the tubular part 11 is arranged. The upper-surface part 12 has an opening part 14 and is formed with an inner-side tubular part 15, extending along the optical axis direction toward the inner side of the tubular part 11 from the opening part 14. An inner peripheral face 15a of the inner side tubular part 15 is able to accommodate the optical lens 2, at an arbitrary position in the optical axis direction.

      SOLUTION: The design of the lens from a short focus lens to a long focus lens is freely performed by providing a sealing wall extending in the vertical direction from a light transmitting window outer peripheral end of a shell and setting up the length of the sealing wall and the curvature of a lens optical surface in press molding. The highly reliable air tightness is attained by heating a glass column of a lens base material to a temperature equal to or above a glass softening point as primary molding before the press molding (secondary molding) to melt-stick the glass to the inner peripheral surface of the sealing wall of the shell.
