    • A method of extracting gas from fluid-bearing strata (18) with at least one gas absorption column (19) involves subjecting the stratum (18) to elastic vibrations generated either in the stratum (18) or in the medium in contact with it by means of a vibration source (20), and removing the gases from the gas absorption column (19), the vibration frequency of the source (20) being varied during the operation from a minimum to a maximum value and back within a frequency range of 0.1 to 350 Hz, preferably 1 to 30 Hz. Variation of the frequency is monotonic, both in terms of the harmonic law and/or discretely. In addition, the pressure in the stratum (18) or part of it is reduced. Additional sources (2, 4) of vibration are used. Periodic vibrations are accompanied by pulses, pulse packets and/or wave trains. The liquid from the stratum is pumped out and brought to the surface and use is made of the heat, and subsequently it is returned to the stratum (18) while subjecting the latter to elastic vibrations. A waveguide (8) with a concentrator is used to convey vibrations to the stratum.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the captioned work by replacing muddy water with fresh water at the completion of excavation by means of mud drilling, pushing down the fresh water level by using two-phase gas consisting of geothermal steam and hot water, which was press-introduced from a pit entrance, holding this state for a certain time, and removing the two-phase gas. CONSTITUTION:At the completion of excavation work to a geothermal well, muddy water is replaced with fresh water, thereby cleaning the inside of a pit. Next, two-phase gas consisting of geothermal steam and hot water, both of which are blowing out of an existing geothermal well, is introduced by pressure into the pit toward its bottom in order to push down the fresh water level, and this state is held as it is for a certain time. After heating the entire water column, which has been pushed down, up to the boiling temperature or higher, the high pressure acting on the pit entrance is relieved. Then, both a flow toward the pit entrance and a bumping phenomenon are caused to the water column, thereby inducing a rise in the underground pressure in order to achieve the initial steam blowing. Accordingly, the captioned work can be simplified.

Furthermore, the pressure in said reservoir is maintained by evaporating some oil and water in the reservoir, due to the fact that heating is achieved both as a consequence of said vibrations, and by the aid of electrical high frequeny pulses causing the reservoir to perform like an electrode furnace.
