CONSTITUTION:A box making apparatus is constituted of the female mold frame 26 provided above a positioned paper box material A, the male mold 25 provided under the paper box material A and capable of rising and falling with respect to the female mold frame 26 and a lift means raising and lowering the male mold 25. When the male mold 25 is allowed to rise and fall with respect to the female mold frame 26 by the lift means, the paper box material A set at the specific position from a sizing device 4 by a positioning device 5 is formed into a box by the female mold frame 26 and the male mold 25. Since the male mold 25 is provided under the positioned paper box material A, the lift means can be provided only under the male mold 25. By this constitution, the structure of the lift means becomes simple to be reduced in its wt. and a box making speed can be increased.

SOLUTION: This wrap-around cartoner comprises: an article accumulating means 20 which accumulates articles M to be sequentially supplied to an accumulating position α by a conveyor 10; a sheet supply means 30 which supplies a bland sheet BS for forming a packaging box C to a sheet supply position βwhile raising the front wall FW and the rear wall RW of the blank sheet BS; and article supply means 40 which supplies a batch of accumulated article MG onto the bottom face wall BW of the blank sheet BS at an article supply position γ; an adhesive applying means 50 which applies an adhesive to the inner face of the side wall SW; a shaping/contact-bonding means 60 which contact-bonds the side wall SW to a side flap SF; a conveyor 70 which sequentially conveys the blank sheet BS to a contact-bonding position λ from the sheet supply position β;, and a gripping means 80 which grips both open side parts of the stack of articles MG supplied onto the blank sheet BS between the article supply position γ and the contact-bonding position λ.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified flap formation which can be applied to various kinds of box assemblies, and by which internal and external flaps do not interfere by utilizing a natural carton folding formed by folding a ruled line section of a box main body of a box raw material under a box pre-opened state by providing an uneven shape on the surface of a flap opening plate, and without adopting a method that the flap opening plate is opened to the outside by a link mechanism.
      SOLUTION: This flap folding method for a box assembly is constituted of the box raw material before opening the box, a pair of the internal and external flaps which are arranged at least at the lower section of the box raw material, and a bar member which respectively places an angle from the internal flap side to the external flap to the outside with the ruled line section of the box main body as the base point for a pair of the internal and external flaps.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To upgrade the folding accuracy of a flap beyond the present level, regarding a device for folding a corrugated board sheet. SOLUTION: This device for folding a corrugated board sheet comprises a pressing member 42 with a planar part 42a, with which the broad planar area of a flap 2a of the corrugated board sheet 2 comes into contact, a conveyance means 33 which conveys the pressing member 42 at the same conveying velocity as that of the corrugated board sheet 2 almost in parallel with the conveying direction of the corrugated board sheet 2 and a rotating means 50 which helically rotates the pressing member 42 in collaboration with the conveyance means 33 during conveying with the help of the conveyance means 33. The pressing member 42 is supported by the conveyance means 33 in a freely rotating manner around an axis almost in parallel with the conveying direction of the corrugated board sheet 2. Finally, the planar part 42a of the pressing member 42 is brought into planar contact with the flap 2a during rotating with the help of the rotating means 50.
