    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical linear motion device that minimizes deformation of a table body or the like.SOLUTION: A linear motion device is provided with a linear motor that includes: a rail body 2 that has a stator 1; and a table body 4 that has a movable element 3 which is arranged so as to face the stator 1. A cable holding body 6 that holds a cable for feeding the movable element 3 is provided on a side of the rail body 2. The cable holding body 6 is annularly bendable, and is in the shape of the letter U in which the cable holding body 6 is coupled at a first end 7 to the table body 4 and at a second end 8 to the rail body 2. A heat sink 9 is coupled to the movable element 3. A radiating fin 10 of the heat sink 9 is provided at a position, on a side of the rail body 2, surrounded by the cable holding body 6, and is configured so as to be positioned adjacent to an inner side of a bend 5 of the cable holding body 6 when the cable body 4 is moved in a direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an novel sliding device having extreme practicability capable of achieving smooth sliding of a sliding element, and improving durability and productivity by eliminating a retainer for rolling elements to simplify the structure.
      SOLUTION: The sliding element 2 is provided to be slidable to a shaft 1, and a plurality of rolling elements 3 are disposed between the shaft 1 and the sliding element 2, so that the rolling elements 3 roll between the shaft 1 and the sliding element 2 in this sliding device. On an inner circumferential surface of the sliding element 2, a load part 4 composed of the inner circumferential surface and an outer circumferential surface of the shaft 1 for the rolling elements 3 to be disposed is provided. A no-load part 6 is provided outward of the load part 4 where the rolling elements 3 are disposed. The no-load part 6 and the load part 4 are connected to each other through a return part 7 where the rolling elements 3 return. The rolling elements 3 get into a load bearing state at the position of the load part 4, and get into a a no-load state at the position of the no-load part 6.
