    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas substituting method for a container, whereby high substitution effect can be obtained using a smaller amount of inert gas without spilling bubbles and liquid contents when the inside of the head space of the container is substituted with gas, and to provide a device therefor. SOLUTION: A bottle nozzle 10 causes nitrogen gas to flow into the mouth of a bottle B being conveyed, from above to a range where the nozzle 10 does not interfere with a capper head. Until immediately before a cap C is fitted from a range where the nozzle 20 interferes with the capper head, a lateral bottle nozzle 10 causes nitrogen gas to flow into the mouth of the bottle B from obliquely above. On the other hand, a cap nozzle 30 causes nitrogen gas to flow into the cap C being conveyed, from below to a range in which the cap nozzle 30 does not interfere with the bottle B. Until immediately before it fits in the bottle B from a range in which it interferes with the bottle B, the lateral cap nozzle 40 causes nitrogen gas to flow into the cap C from obliquely below.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal inspection apparatus and method for a sealed container which can enhance inspection accuracy and shorten inspection time.SOLUTION: The seal inspection apparatus 1 includes: a support member 2 that has an opening 20 into which a container body 11 is inserted, has a seal member 21 for sealed container on which a flange portion 111 is mounted, and supports a sealed container 10; a sealing member 3 which has a shape for forming a chamber 32 and covers the support member 2 with a seal member 22 for sealed container therebetween; pressurization means 4; and leakage determination means 6 which detects the pressure of the pressurized chamber 32, and determines whether or not a leakage of the sealed container 10 exists based on a change of a decrease of the pressure after a predetermined time has passed.
