    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for vertical conveyance of earth which can surely realize upward conveyance and takeout with respect to every sort of soil and which has a high conveying efficiency and facilitates extension of a vertical conveyance part, regarding the equipment for vertical conveyance of earth used for conveying the earth upward in the fields of civil engineering and construction.
      SOLUTION: The equipment comprises a chain conveyor for conveyance of earth which moves around an earth charging part, the vertical conveyance part and an earth takeout part, and a longitudinal casing which surrounds the vertical conveyance part of the conveyor. The chain conveyor comprises a large number of connected conveyor chains and plate lifters fixed at prescribed intervals on the chains. Each plate lifter is composed of a back plate fixed to the chain corresponding thereto, along the longitudinal direction, and a partition plate projecting forward from about the rear end side of the back plate. The earth is held in the space sectioned by the back plate and the partition plate of the plate lifter of each conveyor chain and by lateral side plates on the opposite sides and a front plate of the casing and conveyed upward through the longitudinal casing.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skip device which is simple and of low cost, capable of discharging earth without overturning a skip itself, therefore without risk of running off or the like, and simplifying vertical structures including rails.
      SOLUTION: The skip includes a easing having a charging port at an upper part, a forward inclined bottom surface at a lower part, and a discharge port communicated with the bottom surface, and opened at a lower part in a front surface for containing sediment, and a gate means to open/close the discharge port in the casing. A gate opening/closing guide rail having a curved part at an upper part is disposed to open/close the gate means along an elevation guide rail. The gate means comprises an opening/closing plate of which one end part is journalled to a lower end part of the discharge port to be capable of opening and closing, and a follower member disposed at the other end part of the opening/closing plate to be vertically movably engaged with the gate opening/ closing guide rail. As the skip is elevated till the follower member gets engaged with the curved part, a bottom plate of the gate means falls forward and downward of the discharge port to let-sediment discharged along the opening/closing plate from the discharge port.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sediment vertically-conveying device for conveying sediment upward in the field of civil engineering and construction, excellent in conveyance efficiency and capable of preventing the falling of the sediment, particularly, gravel and contact with a casing and reliably realizing upward conveyance and discharge in spite of the quantity of clay, a sandy component and a water content. SOLUTION: One chain conveyor is taken as an apron conveyor, and the other is taken as a caterpillar conveyor having many caterpillars composed of a bottom plate connected continuously to a longitudinal chain and a partition plate protruding approximately vertically from the bottom plate and disposed in such a manner as to be insertable into each apron. The sediment is held within each space, which is formed between each of the aprons of the apron conveyor and the caterpillar, corresponding to the above apron, of the caterpillar conveyor and partitioned by the respective partition plates, and conveyed upward with the ascent of both of the conveyors.
