    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a switch which detects a cooking pan whether it is in a position or not, by turning a burner OFF by sensing the non-loaded state of a pan when the value of a periodical time, in which the capacity of a burner is alternately changed from large to small repeatedly for a predetermined time, is below a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A cooker is constituted in such a manner that the temperature detected by a temperature detecting part 11 and the set temperature and the upper limit of temperature from a mode setting part 12, are fed into a calorific- value controlling part 13, and the calorific-value controlling part 13 controls the capacity of a burner 3 from large to small, by opening and closing a solenoid valve 9 by comparing a detected temperature with a set temperature, and it also controls a main solenoid valve 6 to be shut off when the detected temperature comes up to the upper limit of temperature. A non-loaded state determining part 14 which determines whether a cooking pan is set in a position or not, shuts off the main solenoid valve 6 when the periodical time that the capacity of a burner 3 is changed from small to large again, after it is changed from large to small, is fed into the part 14, and the above-mentioned changes are repeated in a predetermined short period of time.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent overshooting of a cooking temperature during the initial stage of cooking and lowering of temperature during cooking, by a method wherein, in the title cooker controlling a cooking temperature based on the temperature of a pot bottom, a desired temperature is increased with time. CONSTITUTION:A hot plate sensor 1 detects the temperature of a pot bottom to input it to a temperature detecting part 91 of a control part 9. A comparing part 92 compares a detecting temperature with a desired value, and the result is outputted to a gas valve control part 93. The gas valve control part 93 controls opening and closing of a main electromagnetic valve 5 and an electromagnetic valve 7 to control a cooking temperature. Simultaneously, a desired value set part 94 is switched from a high output to a low output according to the comparing result of the comparing part 92, and further, the desired value set part increases a desired value each time it is switched from a high output to a low output to output an increased desired value to the comparing part 92. This constitution enables prevention of overshooting of a cooking temperature during the initial stage of cooking and improvement of cooking performance.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease an over-shoot of a cooking temperature at an initial rise heating operation, an excessive decrease in cooking temperature caused by a delay in control at a temperature fall and a decrease in temperature during a repetitive cooking by a method wherein a rate of decrease in temperature sensed by a temperature sensor is calculated and means for sensing a rate of decrease in temperature for outputting a signal for changing over the heating means from its low output side to its high output side to a calorie changing-over means is provided. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 2 may detect a temperature at a bottom part of a cooking container and a calorie changing-over means 10 may change over an output of a heating means 4 heating the cooking container into a high output and a low output. A temperature setting unit 14 may set each of an operating temperature acting as a target value of a temperature control and an initial operating temperature acting as a target value of a temperature control when heated at a lower temperature than the operating temperature during an initial starting time. A comparator circuit 16 may compare a sensed temperature with an operating temperature or initial operating temperature, and in case that the sensed temperature is higher than the set value, a low output changing-over signal is outputted to the calorie changing-over means 10. The means 18 for sensing a rate of decreasing temperature may calculate a rate of decreasing temperature of the sensed temperature and in case that the rate of decreasing temperature is more than the desired value, a high output changing- over signal is outputted to the calorie changing-over means 10.
