Thus the data can be down loaded via the B channel having a high transmitting speed regardless of the transmitting speed of a standard interface. As a result, the down load time is shortened and at the same time an economical device is obtained.

Thus, between a testing machine 1 and the ISDN terminal equipment 5 to be tested, the exchange of a signal for call origination or the exchange of a signal for call termination is executed and by mutually confirming the transmission and reception of the signal, connection can be confirmed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a back-up power circuit which is capable of a stable memory holding task via a stable switch and has the small consumption of a back-up battery, by closing a volatile switch to supply the logical output voltage lower than a rated level a memory for volatilization of the memory contents. CONSTITUTION:When the door of a device is opened and a volatile switch 23 is closed, the terminal voltage Vc of a capacitor 21 of a switch circuit 19 is set instantly at zero V and then rises up to about 3.3V with a prescribed time constant. Thus, the input voltage of an input terminal 16b at the other side of an OR circuit 16 is kept at an L level while the voltage Vc reaches a logical H level from zero V. While the other input terminal 16a has its input voltage kept at an L level since a device power supply A is not supplied. Thus, the output of the circuit 16 is set at an L level (zero V). As a result, the voltage supplied to a power supply terminal 10a of a RAM 10 is set at a level less than the rated voltage. Then, the programs and data stored in the RAM 10 are volatilized.

Then a prescribed dialing protocol is applied to a center monitoring a fault of each public telephone set. When a reply from the center is obtained, LCD destruction information is sent to the center. Furthermore, in this case, the public telephone set management number and various setting information are sent altogether so that the installed location of the public telephone set and the set function information sending the LCD destruction information are identified by the maintenance personnel.
