    • PURPOSE:To enable indoor air to be efficiently filtered by a method wherein an air conditioner is comprised of a long air filter wound around a winding core, a take-up roll, a motor for driving the take-up roll and a control means for rotating the motor only for a predetermined period of time when an operating time of the fan reaches an optional set time. CONSTITUTION:A filter device 1 is comprised of a disposable long air filter 2, a take-up roll 4, a motor 5 for rotationally driving the take-up roll 4 and a cassette case 6. When an operating time of a fan 14 is calculated and reaches a predetermined time, the take-up roll 4 is rotated only for a predetermined time, the air filter 2 is taken up only by a length covering a suction 11, the air filter is fed out by that amount from a winding core 3. This operation is repeated and as almost of all long air filter 2 are fed out of the winding core 3, an alarm with a buzzer or an illumination is produced.

    • PURPOSE:To raise the temperature of high temperature air which is blown into a room, by a method wherein according to the high temperature air blow instruction, the frequency of an inverter is increased, the air flow of a room fan is reduced and the air flow of an outdoor fan is increased. CONSTITUTION:When a high temperature air blow button 26 provided on a remote controller 13 is operated, the signal is output to a frequency decision device 23, an outdoor fan rotation decision device 27 and a room fan rotation speed decision device 28. The frequency decision device 23 decides to increase the frequency of an inverter 12, and the signal is output to the inverter 12 through an output device 25 so that the frequency of the inverter 12 is increased and a compressor 1 is operated at a high speed. On the other hand, the outdoor fan rotation speed decision device 27 decides to increase the rotation speed of an outdoor fan 10, and the signal is output to a variable speed motor 9 through an output device 29 so to operate the outdoor fan 10 at a high speed. And, the room fan rotation speed decision device 28 decides to reduce the rotation speed of a room fan 11 and the signal is output to a variable motor 8 through an output device 30 so as to operate the room fan 11 at a low speed. Thus, high temperature air is blown into a room.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of replacing work by closing a discharging port and opening a valve passage when a specified period of time has elapsed after starting the operation of replacement upon replacing air in a system with refrigerant gas. CONSTITUTION:Upon installation, air in a refrigerant pipe 3 and an indoor heat exchanger 21 is replaced with refrigerant gas. In this case, air in the indoor heat exchanger 21 and the refrigerant pipe 3 is replaced with the refrigerant gas and when a period of time, set by a setting means 59, has elapsed, a motor 54 is driven based on the command of a controller 57 whereby a valve disc 53 is moved upward to close a discharging port 52 and open a valve passage 55. As a result, an indoor unit, an outdoor unit and the reciprocating flow passage of the refrigerant pipe 3 are filled with the refrigerant gas of the optimum density. According to this method, an operator for supervising the operation is obviated and the cost of air/refrigerant gas replacing work can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly clean an air filter by installing correspondingly with the air filter a cleaning system for sucking dust adhering on a filtering surface. SOLUTION: A suction opening 21 is disposed in a vicinity of a bottom face of an air filter FL and is connected to a filter 23 through a flexible duct 26 and the filter 23 is connected to a fan 24 through the duct 26. The fan 24 can be automatically operated or manually operated at any time by means of a remote control switch. When the fan 24 is operated, dust adhering on a bottom face of the air filter FL is sucked into the suction opening 21 and is introduced into the filter 23 through the flexible duct 22 to remove the dust from air. The suction opening 21 is fastened to a table 31 by means of a band 41 and an endless metal belt 45 is passed through and secured to a mounting hole 45 and the endless metal belt 45 is rotated by normally and reversely rotating a sprocket 38 by a motor 37. Thus, the table 31 and the suction hole 21 are moved in right and left directions so that quick cleaning can be implemented by scanning a whole surface of the air filter to suck the dust.
