    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a bimetallic cylinder having high accurate inner diameter surface by forming firm oxide film on a core of material having large coefficient of thermal expansion, inserting this core into a hole in cylinder base material and taking out the core after executing hot isostatic pressing treatment and cooling. CONSTITUTION:The core 11 obtd. by joining one pair of a first and second cores 11a, 11b at right and left sides, is inserted into the hole 12a in the cylinder 12, thus space 13 for packing metal powder is formed between the core 11 and the hole 12a. The material of this core 11 has the coefficient of thermal expansion larger than the coefficient of thermal expansion of the material of cylinder 12, and on this surface, chemical treatment of black oxide film treatment, etc., is applied to form the firm oxide film. Into the above space 13 for packing metal powder, e.g. Ni-base corrosion resistant and wear resistant alloy powder is packed and the hot isostatic pressing is applied. By this method, lining layer 14 is formed. In cooling process after that, the core 11 and the lining layer 14 are easily separated with the difference of the coefficient of thermal expansion between the core 11 and the cylinder 12. Successively, the core 11 is taken out from the cylinder by extruding and the high accurate lining layer is fitted and formed in the inner face of cylinder 12.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a screw eliminating the machining of a coated layer and having high reliability against breakage by injecting or extruding the kneaded and granulated material of corrosion and wear resistant raw powder and an organic binder between a screw parent material and a metal mold. CONSTITUTION:When manufacturing a split screw constituting a screw for a split extruder, a screw parent material 12a of high toughness is arranged in a metal mold 6 so that a clearance for a coated layer may be left. Into the clearance, a compound for injection molding which corrosion and wear resistant material, such an Ni base self-fluxing alloy powder and an organic binder consisting of acryl base resin, etc., are kneaded and granulated to form is injected. A molding to which the coated layer 12b is stuck to the outer circumference of the screw parent material 12a is obtained. When the molding is subjected to degreasing and sintering, Ni base self-fluxing alloy is diffused and joined to the outer circumference of the screw parent material 12a, permitting a screw 12 excelling in corrosion and wear resistance to be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To make the screw to high performance by constituting both an external peripheral part having the crest and trough faces of screw and inner circumferential part having a key or a spline groove part of material different in quality and constituting the screw of a double structure. CONSTITUTION:A split type screw 2 is constituted of both an external peripheral part 2a having the crest and trough faces of a screw and an internal circumferential part 2b having a key of a spline groove part. The external peripheral part 2a is formed of high-hardness material to prevent abrasion. Further the inner circumferential part 2b is formed of low-hardness or high-toughness material. The eternal peripheral part 2a and the inner circumferential part 2b are diffused and joined by HIP, etc. Therefore since the low corner of the spline groove wherein high stress is generated at a time for utilization has low hardness and high toughness and becomes low yield point (low elastic limit) in comparison with the parts of crest and trough faces of the screw, the split type screw has the locally easily deformable property. Thereby the groove part is prevented from being broken. On the other hand, since the crest and trough (external periphery) parts of the screw become high hardness high in wear resistance, abrasion of the screw is made little.

Accordingly, the screw in which the flame-sprayed layer is diffused-joined completely can be manufactured.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate release of lining in inner face of a cylinder and a core and to easily manufacture the bimetallic cylinder by using the core made of material having larger coefficient of heat expansion than that of the cylinder base material at the time of lining the inner face of the cylinder having one or more shafts with corrosion resistant and wear resistant material. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing the bimetallic cylinder used for injection forming, etc., of plastic product, the core 11 made of the material having large heat expansion ratio is inserted into a hole 12a in the steel-made cylinder 12 to form gap 13 for packing metal powder between the core 11 and the hole 12a of cylinder. Successively, this is cooled to the room temp. and the core and the lining layer 14 are easily separated because of weak joining strength due to stress developed by the difference of heat expansion ratio between the core 11 and the cylinder 12, and the core 11 is pulled out to easily manufacture the cylinder 12 with hole having excellent corrosion resistant and wear resistant lining layer 14 provided.
