    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a most suitable antenna pattern by providing the specific number of monitor antennas on a satellite because of calculating a deformation amount between the even number of antenna panels. SOLUTION: A signal generated by a signal generator 4 is transmitted and received to a transmitting and receiving module 2 via a transmitter 3 as a transmitting signal 10. For instance, a radio wave transmitted from an antenna 1 composed of four panels is received by five monitor antennas 7 mounted on a satellite. A receiving signal 11 from the antenna 7 is input to a receiver 5, and A/D converted by a data processing part 6 to be transmitted to a control part 8. The part 8 determines five independent parameters of amplitude, a phase, deformation on an X-axis, deformation on a Y-axis and deformation on a Z-axis of each transmitting and receiving module by using the five antennas 7 and performing measurement five times. A setting phase is calculated in consideration to the calculated amplitude, phase, deformation on the X-axis, deformation on the Y-axis and deformation on the Z-axis of each transmitting and receiving module, transmitted to the transmitting and receiving module 2 via an interface 9, and a proper antenna pattern is formed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stable testing without requiring a large space, by providing a timing adjustment circuit for adjusting delay of target signals and levels of reference frequency signals, and a frequency converting circuit for coverting their frequency into RF band frequency. SOLUTION: Pulse signals from a synthetic aperture radar 1 and reference frequency signals of the radar are inputted into a timing adjustment circuit 2 through a cable connection, and delay of target signals and levels of various reference frequency signals are amplified/adjusted. A frequency converting circuit 3 raises the frequency of output of the adjustment circuit 2 by mixing it with the reference frequency signals and generates RF band reference frequency signals while outputs them as target signals.     • PURPOSE:To increase a processing speed by converting a received signal from analog to digital and then dividing it into plural frequency bands by digital filters, and lowering their rates to necessary data rates by data thinning out filters and inputting the signals to a memory. CONSTITUTION:A received signal which is reflected by the surface of the sea and received by a receiver is sampled and quantized by an A/D conversion part 1. Then the output digital signal of the conversion part 1 is divided into the four frequency bands by the 1st-4th digital filters 2-5. Then the outputs of the filters 2-5 are passed through 1st-4th data thinning out filters 4-9 so as to lower their data rate to the data rates matching with the respective band widths. Consequently, the signals of the respective bands which are lowered to the data rates are multiplexed and stored in the input memory 10. The data stored in the memory 10 is transferred, band by band, to a Doppler filter 11 to generate filter banks by Fourier transformation, thereby dividing an observation area. Thus, the processing speed is increased.

      CONSTITUTION: A magnetic tape on which an input raw image data is recorded is applied to a magnetic tape reproducer 4 and once an output is produced to a magnetic disc unit 5, the raw image data is stored into a memory 3 through a host computer 1 and a processor 2. Under such a condition, the signal processing for a synthetic aperture radar is donne with the processor 2. Having all data for processing, the memory 3 allows the random accessing and data accessing can be done at the same time both in the range-wise and azimuth-wise processing by an address control. Thus, in addition to no need for corner turn processing, all image data are memorized into the memory 3 to enable a high- speed processing by continuously supplying data to processor 2 on a pipeline system.

CONSTITUTION:The number of clocks is selected as, for instance, 2 =16, and an address generating circuit makes the following arithmetic for synchronizing to the power of 2 of basic clocks. Change in the low-order four bits of the output of a counter 5 synchronizes to a butterfly arithmetic and the remaining higher order bits perform the n-th butterfly arithmetic at present. On the other hand, since each data can be used for arithmetic once because of the nature of an FFT and operated results can be written in the same address of a memory, from which data are read out, it is sufficient to obtain a 2-bit decoded output to a 4-bit input signal and one bit is enough to a coefficient address. Therefore, it is sufficient that decoding is made by using outputs of 16 clocks so that the outputting timing of a decoder 9 coincides with the data inputting timing and coefficient outputting timing.
