    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a thick film structure having a film thickness of the order of 0.2 to 0.5 mm and having fine structures in a thickness direction by applying ultraviolet lithography technique.
      SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the structure comprises a step of applying a photosensitive resin to a substrate; a photosensitive resin pre-baking step; an exposing step conducted by using an exposure device composed of a mask pattern, an ultraviolet light exciting source, and an optical system for projecting light transmitted through the mask pattern on the substrate; an after-exposure baking step of baking the photosensitive resin on the substrate; and a developing step. The structure has a thickness of 0.2 to 0.5 mm at a thickest portion, and is different in thickness from location to location.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mainly provide a apparatus for detecting uneven pattern improved in image quality.
      SOLUTION: A thickness part of an optical plate 6 is provided with an inclined fiber array 21, formed by bundling fibers and having one end exposed to one surface of the optical plate 6 and the other end exposed to the other surface of the optical plate 6. An optical waveguide layer 31 is provided in one surface of the optical plate 6, in such a way as to cover one end of the fiber array 21. The optical waveguide layer 31 is made of a material, having a refractive index higher than that of a material constituting the optical plate 6. The optical waveguide layer 31 transmits light from a light source 26 through its thickness part. An imaging element 11 is mounted onto the other surface of the optical plate 6 so as to be connected to the other end of the fiber array 21.
