    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated type heat pump water heater which is compact, inexpensive, and convenient. SOLUTION: This water heater comprises a refrigerant circulating circuit consisting of a closed circuit formed by successively connecting a compressor 2, a radiator 3, a decompressing means 4 and an evaporator 5, and circulating refrigerant therein; a blowing fan 7 blowing air to the evaporator 5; a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 8 performing heat exchange with the radiator 3; a hot water storage means 9 connected to the heat exchanger 8 to store hot water heated by the heat exchanger 8; and a casing 1 storing them. The refrigerant circulating circuit and the blowing fan 7 are arranged in a lower part of the casing 1, and the hot water storage means 9 is arranged in an upper part of the casing 1.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of noise caused by secondary air while reducing the size of a burner for a more compact device and holding a more proper temperature of a vaporizing cylinder. SOLUTION: A plurality of small holes 10 are provided at the outer periphery area of a vaporizing cylinder fixing board 5 so that they may be placed along the outer edge of a vaporizing cylinder 7 and a combustion ring 18 while a metal net 11 is stretched so as to cover the small holes in structure. This construction makes it possible to delay the velocity of a secondary air when passing through the small holes 10 and thereby prevent the generation of a noise since the metal net 11 is stretched over the small holes 10 to provide resistance. Since the small holes 10 are laid out along the outer edge of the vaporizing cylinder 7 and the combustion ring 18, there is no need to enlarge the outside shape of the vaporizing cylinder fixing board 5 so that a more compact burner may be designed. Furthermore, the air passing through the small holes 10 is capable of cooling effectively the vaporizing cylinder and the combustion ring 18 and controlling the received amount of heat and holding the temperature of the vaporizing cylinder 7 uniformly and properly.

CONSTITUTION:In a case where the exposure height of a wick 1 is lowered and the quantity of combustion is reduced, since an opening 13 is provided on the inner flame cylinder top plate 12 upward of a flow control region 22, air 34 rising up along an air inlet path 23 is pulled by the opening 13 and its quantity becomes large. A part of the air 34 produces a flow 39 flowing downward through an upper control flow region and suppresses an unburnt gas 37 to prevent the same from leaking upward of the combustion region. Therefore, deterioration of a waste gas characteristic (CO/CO2) can be prevented from occurring. Further, in a case where the wick exposure height is raised suddenly, an excessive erected flame is generated at the upper end of a combustion chamber 8 at the upper part of the burner, because the quantity of vaporization of the wick 1 abruptly increases. However, since an opening 13 is provided around the outer peripheral part of the upper inner flame cylinder top plate 12 of the flow control region 22, air 38 is supplied from the vicinity of the flame to make it possible to suppress the excessively formed flame.

When an oxygen deficiency state occurs in the maximum combustion condition, though the resistance of the thermistor 13 is rather higher, the resistance of the resistor 5 which determines the reference voltage used for comparison with the output of the thermistor 13 at a comparator 21 becomes also high. Conversely, when the oxygen deficiency state occurs in the minimum combustion condition, though the resistance of the thermistor 13 is rather lower, the resistance of the resistor 5 is also low, and therefore the detected level of oxygen deficiency at that condition is almost the same as that in the maximum combustion condition. Therefore, in either case, the buzzer 22 is operated in almost the same oxygen concentration.

    • PURPOSE:To realize the favorable red-hot situation at the red-heat part of an outer flame tube and at the same time improve the exhaust gas characteristic by a constitution wherein slit-like cut-outs are made on the upper part of the outer flame tube and at the same time horizontal and vertical parts, which diverge upwards so as to locate higher the nearer they approach a transmissive tube side. CONSTITUTION:Slit-like cut-outs 23a are made on the upper part of an outer flame tube 23. The outer flame tube 23 is so constituted as to have tapered parts 29 expanding outwards and upwards, horizontal parts 30 bent from the tapered parts 29 and vertical parts 31 further bent vertically from the horizontal parts so as to expand outwards and upwards. The top plate 32 of the outer flame tube is cappingly attached between a transmissive tube 25 and the upper part of the outer flame tube 23 by being spot-welded onto the horizontal part 2 at the upper part of the outer flame tube 23. Through the constitution as described above, the red-hot situation of the outer flame tube can be made favorable and at the same time the exhaust gas characteristic is also improved.
