    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system utilizing deep-sea water which balances good followability with energy efficiency.SOLUTION: An air-conditioning system utilizing deep-sea water comprises: a pumping device to pump deep-sea water from the sea; a seawater-cooling medium heat exchanger 4 which cools a cooling medium through heat exchange with cold energy of the pumped deep-sea water; an air-conditioning heat exchanger 9 which releases the cold energy into an object facility through heat exchange with the cooling medium cooled by the cold energy of the deep-sea water; a cooling medium circulation system which circulates the cooling medium between the seawater-cooling medium heat exchanger 4 and the air-conditioning heat exchanger 9 through piping and a pump; a calculation control section 50 which drives the pump at a timing in anticipation of fluctuation in a predicted thermal load on the basis of the predicted thermal load predicted from prediction values of both an operation state of the object facility and a meteorological condition at a place where the object facility is located and a time lag derived from a length of the piping in the cooling medium circulation system.
