    • PURPOSE:To damp the vibration of moving vanes, by fitting the two mutually perpendicularly intersecting protrusions of a pair of coupling plates in the overhangs of the adjacent moving vanes to provide a prescribed gap between them and couple the front and rear of their tips to each other to restrict the untwisting of the vanes. CONSTITUTION:During rotation, untwisting moment acts due to centrifugal force so that the gap G between the overhangs 8a, 9b of moving vane 1, 2 increases to a value G'. The value G' is determined from the gap F between protrusions 26, 28 at standstill. During the rotation, the contact sides 30, 31 of the protrusions 26, 28 come into contact with each other to restrict the untwisted quantity of the moving vanes within a desired range. The centrifugal force of a coupling member 14 is borne by the contact of a pin 16 with the inside of the through hole 12a of the moving vane 1 and the contact of the top of the coupling member with the bottom of the overhang 9b of the other moving vane 2 so that the overhang bears some of the centrifugal force. When the moving vanes are vibrated in the circumferential direction, relative small slip motion is caused between the contact sides of the protrusions 26, 28 so that the friction has a damping effect on the vibration.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain untwist and damp vibration of rotary blades by bringing upward a pair of connecting members engaged with each other, into contact with vizors in fore and back edges of adjacent rotary blades during an operation, so that said rotary blades may be engaged with each other. CONSTITUTION:Connecting faces 18, 19, which are faces of end parts 12a, 13a of connecting pieces 12, 13, come in contact with each other during an operation and forces act to each other for restraining the amount of untwist of rotary blades within a desirable limit. In case rotary blades 1, 2 vibrate in X direction, that is, the circumferential direction, a very small sliding motion is started between connecting faces 18 and 19 of connecting pieces 12 and 13, and principally the friction between said faces 18 and 19 exhibits a significant effect on damping the vibration. While in case the rotary blades vibrate in Y direction, that is, the axial direction, principally the frictional force on faces of the connecting pieces 12, 13 touching the lower faces of vizors 8a, 9b of rotary blades 1, 2 which is a pressure receiving surface of centrifugal force of connecting pieces 12, 13, are quite effective on damping vibrations.

    • PURPOSE:To confirm the state of operating bearings by calculating the loads on the bearings from the oil film pressure on the sliding surfaces of the bearings. CONSTITUTION:An orifice 11 with a small diameter which is communicated to a hole 10 is formed in the bearing 2. A pan 13 wherein a pressure sensing hole 6 is formed is provided in the hole 10, and a temperature sensor 14 is fixed to the pan 13. The pressure oil which transmits the oil film pressure is transmitted to a pressure sensor 17 via the orifice 11. Number of rotations N is sensed by a sensor 18a, and inputted to an RPM judging device 51. The output signal thereof is inputted to a bearing-load calculated value store 52 comprising a low-speed-reference calculated value store 53 and a high-speed-reference calculated value store 54. The output from the store 52 is inputted to a reference-calculated-value calibrating device 55, where the reference calculated value is calibrated to the value which matches the actual state of the bearing, corresponding to the actual metal temperature and pressure measured by the oil film sensor 17 and the bearing metal temperature sensor 14. After the calibration, the bearing load is calculated by a load calculator 56, and the result is transmitted to a warning display 57.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to early detect the abnormal conditions of a bearing, such as inclination, by a method wherein the metal temperature in the neighborhood of the bearing sliding surface is detected at a plurality of portions, and the metal temperature difference between these portion and the reference temperature difference value are compared with each other. CONSTITUTION:In the detecting position 10 on the Babbit metal 5 surface of the lower-half bearing 2, four holes 10a are formed, two of them being located at axially symmetric positions and the other two at circumferentially symmetric positions, and metal temperature sensors 12 are installed in the holes 10a. The metal temperature signals T1-T4 from the metal temperature sensor 12 at the four portions are inputted to an arithmetic apparatus 18, to which the bearing oil temperature signal 0 is also inputted from an oil temperature sensor 7c. On the other hand, the load, the number of revolutions R and the on/off signal of the oil lifter are inputted to the arithmetic apparatus 18 from an operational condition detector 17. In said arithmetic apparatus 18, the metal temperature difference between said portions and the reference temperature difference value are compared with each other in order to diagnose the existence to abnormality of the bearing. Thereby, the abnormal conditions of the bearing can be detected at an early stage.

    • PURPOSE:To easily detect an abnormal bearing, by installing the metal temperature sensor to the part which is right under the lower half bearing so as to be symmetrical to the axial direction, also providing the metal temperature sensor at intervals of some distance in the circumferential direction in the same way, and monitoring the temperature. CONSTITUTION:The metal temperature signals T1-T4 from the metal temperature sensor 12 embeded in the 4 detection holes 10 which are right under the lower half bearing 2 are input to the diagnostic arithmetic device 100. On the other hand, not only the operation conditions 17 such as load, rotational frequency, turning on-off, etc. but also the oiling temperature signal T0 from the bearing oiling temperature sensor 12a are input to the diagnostic arithmetic device 100. And the sound signal energy value gamma from he sound sensor 16 and the sound signal generation frequency value gamman measured by the counter 21 are also input to the diagnostic arithmetic device 100, and the existence of abnormality is diagnosed by the bearing metal wiper, etc. from these signals in the device 100.
