    • PURPOSE:To reduce the damage of a recording medium when a magnetic head collides against the recording medium, by utilizing the nearly linear operation of a bail tip having a stroke increased to a multiple of the stroke of a solenoid plunger. CONSTITUTION:The plunger once energized receives suction force in such a direction that a gap delta is reduced, thereby entering into linear motion. The linear motion is converted temporarily into rotary motion and the suction force becomes torque of rotation. A spiral spring 21 is provided between the external frame of a push-pull solenoid and a rotary disk 18 and once feeding is interrupted, it is rotated and returned by the rotating force of the spiral spring 21 in such a direction that the gap delta is formed. Further, the bail 9 is positioned by a shaft 10 and rotated around the shaft 10, but the bail tip is at distance l from the center of rotation and it is considered that the less a necessary operation stroke S, the closer to linearity the operation of the tip of the bail 9.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate an error due to the hysteresis of a stepping motor and to prevent a positioning shift to a normal or reverse direction by reversing the stepping motor by one step and positioning it for its movement in a specific direction. CONSTITUTION:The stepping motor 1 rotates at a specific pitch and a steel band 3 wound around the capstant 2 of the motor 1 is unwound to put a carriage block 60 in linear motion along guide arms 16a and 16b. A magnetic head 19 attached at one end of the block is positioned on a desired track 6 on a disk 4 by said linear motion. Thus, the magnetic head 19 is positioned at the desired position N by utilizing a forward and a backward positioning shift due to the hysteresis of the motor 1 for position corrections and in this case, the motor is moved to a position (N+1) one pitch ahead of the desired position N and then moved backward by one pitch to be positioned at the desired position N.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce a positioning error extremely by positioning a stepping motor while putting its fixed poles invariably in the same energizing phase. CONSTITUTION:The stepping motor 1 is rotated by specific steps and a steel band 3 wound around its capstant 2 is wound or unwound to put a carriage block 60 in linear motion. Consequently, a magnetic head 19 attached at one end of the block 60 is positioned on a desired track 6 on a flexible disk 4. When the capstant motor 1 has four fixed poles, nearly the same positioning error occurs in every four steps, so this is utilized for the positioning to perform one-track movement by 4-step driving, performing the positioning with high precision. Thus, the motor 1 is positioned by energizing invariably the same fixed pole winding.

    • PURPOSE:To make smooth graph of steep gradience and easy to see, by providing the spot control section to produce the spot having the same time as either of the adjacent spots on the non-display scanning line between the adjacent spots on the time axis produced with the trend data memory every memory. CONSTITUTION:The trend graph generation section 400n is costituted with the trend data memory 410n, first and second comparison circuits 430n and 440n, data latch circuit 450n, and spot control logic 460n. To the memory 410n thus constituted, the data to be the beginning point of the trend curve is stored from the external information source via the input and output circuit 100 in the order of the time displayed, and the output of the memory 410n is fed to one input terminal A of the circuit 430n and the signal 302 representing the number of scanning line from the timing control circuit 300 is fed to the input terminal B. Furthermore, the output of the memory 410n delayed by one unit for the circuit 450n is fed to one input terminal A and the signal 302 representing the scanning line number is fed to other input terminal B. Thus, the spot is interpolated on the scanning line, enabling to make easy to see display.
