SOLUTION: The heat treating furnace 1 is equipped with a furnace body 2 for heat treating an enameled wire 6. The furnace body 2 includes a wire passing part 2a into which the enameled wire 6 is inserted, and an insertion/extraction hole 3 formed to penetrate a wall face of the furnace body 2. The heat treating furnace 1 is equipped with an irregular plate 4 can be inserted into/extracted from the insertion/extraction hole 3 for forming an irregular face on the inner face of the wire passing part 2a when being inserted into the insertion/extraction hole 3. A plurality of the insertion/extraction holes 3 are arranged on the wall face of the furnace body 2 in a wire passing direction A of the wire passing part 2a. The irregular plate 4 can be inserted into/extracted from an optional insertion/extraction hole 3.

SOLUTION: The enameled wire baking device includes a cooling tower at an upper part of a baking furnace, as well as a hot-wind rise prevention device 3 for preventing hot wind from rising from the baking furnace to the cooling tower by blasting air flow between the baking furnace and the cooling tower. The hot-wind rise prevention device 3 includes a housing 30 with a wire passage 34 for making a plurality of enamel-coated wires 4 pass through in parallel, and an air-blasting port 35 formed on an inside wall of the housing for blasting air flow into the housing 30. Further, a straight-run prevention plate 31 for preventing straight run of the air flow is provided in the vicinity of the air-blasting port 35 inside the housing 30.
