SOLUTION: The filter block 30 is obtained by combining a spacer 26 consisting of a synthetic resin-made corrugated sheet alternately with a complex 25 which is obtained by sticking a bio-filter sheet 15 to both sides of a core material 10 consisting of the synthetic resin-made corrugated sheet, arranging clamping materials on the peripheries of the sheet 15-stuck core material 10, forming a horizontal liquid passage inside the clamping materials and arranging a purified water withdrawing port on the liquid passage.
