SOLUTION: This woody tape 14 is manufactured by forming a coating layer 15 comprising a urethane reactive hot melt resin to the back of continuous veneer 3 wherein a plurality of extremely thin veneers 1 are butted through the saw tooth like joint edges 1a and 1b of a finger joint. By this constitution, the woody tape is sharply enhanced in flexibility and toughness and becomes hard to cause a rupture or a crack. Further, since a continuous backing sheet is not used, a wide keeping space for stocking the continuous backing sheet in large quantities or much purchase funds become unnecessary and the stock control of materials used in production becomes easy.
