The latch member includes, in a main body 16 which is externally fitted to a stile member 10 of the movable stile so as to be slidable and fixed at a required position, a guide slope 16 which rides on an engaging edge 18b of the latch holder, a hook 16a which is engaged with the engaging edge, and a carry-up surface 16d which moves the movable stile up in latch cancellation. The latch holder includes an engaging edge 18b at an opening lower edge of a recess 18a into which the hook is inserted. Between upper and lower lateral frames 4 and 5, a dimensional margin is maintained for allowing the hook to ride on the engaging edge of the latch holder.
