    • There is provided an electroacoustic transducer capable of reproducing high-quality sound particularly in a low frequency range, including: a cylindrical yoke 29; a drive magnet 33 placed coaxially with the yoke 29 so as to circumferentially face the yoke 29; a diaphragm 37 fixed at the cylindrical tip end portion of the yoke 29 so as to face each other; and a voice coil 43 fixed to one surface of the diaphragm 37, wherein the diaphragm 37 is formed, with the central region 37a having rigidity so as to be less flexible compared with an outer circumferential region 37 surrounding the central region 37a, and the voice coil 43 is inserted between the drive magnet 33 and the yoke 29, and configured to cause the diaphragm 37 to vibrate by a voice signal applied to the both-end lead wire 43a. The both-end lead wire 43a of the voice coil 43 is led out to the outside through the central region 37a of the diaphragm 37.

    • A planar magnetic transducer (10) having enhanced magnetic structures which increases performance over a single-ended device but mitigates some of the drawbacks of double ended devices, including a supporting structure (30a, 30b), a diaphragm (21) incorporating a coil conductor (27) at least a primary magnetic structure (35a-g), and a secondary magnetic structure (36a-e) can be added, including mitigation of high-frequency resonance and attenuation by providing a more open architecture, including spacing the magnets wider apart, configuring the inter-magnet spaces to provide better acoustic performance, using high-energy magnets, which magnets can be shaped to form at least a part of the shaped inter-magnet space, all of which are directed to obtaining a more efficient and less costly use of magnet material to achieve enhanced performance.
