    • The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for manufacturing an oxymethylene copolymer in which the amount of formaldehyde generated from a product thereof is reduced; in particular, the amount of formaldehyde generated from a product when stored in a high-temperature, high-humidity environment for a long period of time is reduced, and thus, the generation of an offensive odor is suppressed. It is possible to solve the aforementioned problem by means of an oxymethylene-copolymer manufacturing method comprising: a step 1 for polymerizing a polymerization raw material containing trioxane and a comonomer in the presence of an acid catalyst in a quantity that is 1.0×10 -8 moles to 5.0×10 -6 moles with respect to 1 mole of trioxane; a step 2 for adding a hydroxylamine compound represented by general formula (1) (in the formula, R 1 and R 2 are, independently of each other, a hydrogen atom or an organic group having 1-20 carbon atoms) to a reaction product obtained in step 1 at 50-5000 times the quantity of the acid catalyst, in terms of the molar quantity, and mixing the hydroxylamine compound with the reaction product; and a step 3 for subjecting the mixture of the reaction product and the hydroxylamine compound, which is obtained in step 2, to an additional melt-kneading.
