摘要： A band clamp (19) comprises a band (20) that surrounds goods to be secured and a fastener (21) that is attached to the end section (22) of the inner band and that encompasses the band (20), while the end section (23) of the outer band passes through the fastener (21). A tool is used to fasten the band clamp, said tool having a holding device for receiving the fastener (21) together with the band (20) that surrounds the goods to be secured, a tensioning device for tensioning the band (20) around the goods to be secured by the exertion of a tensile force on the end section (23) of the outer band, a locking device (50) for locking the fastener (21) on the band (20), and a separation device for cutting off the excess band length. The locking device (50) has tong jaws (54) that can be introduced into side windows (25) of the fastener (21) in order to deform side-edge parts (24) of the other end section (23) of the band.

摘要： A metal locking tie (50) formed from a locking head (60) and an elongate strap (80) extending through the locking head. The locking head is defined by a top wall (62), a bottom wall (64) and two sides (63,65). The locking head includes a slot (66) that extends through the locking head from an entrance end (68) to an exit end (70). The bottom wall (64) of the locking head (60) has a tab (76) that extends upwardly toward the slot (66) in the locking head. The strap (80) has a first end (82), a second end (84), and an aperture (86) therethrough. When the strap (80) is positioned within the locking head (60) the upwardly extending tab (76) of the locking head (60) engages the aperture (86) in the strap. A metal locking tie tool (92) secures the strap to the locking head by displacing a portion of the strap in the locking head.
