摘要： The present invention relates to a clamping assembly for clamping an extruded profile with a contour on a milling machine, comprising: a fixed clamp, a movable clamp, and a die assembly, wherein the die assembly comprises two or more form blocks, wherein the form blocks are provided on a support plate, and wherein the form blocks are provided between the fixed and movable clamp, wherein the form blocks have a contour that is complementary to separate, non-contiguous, parts of the contour of the profile at rest, and wherein the clamps are configured to move the form blocks towards each other for the clamping engagement of the profiles. The invention also relates to a method for clamping an extruded profile on a milling machine.
