摘要： A linear sliding gate valve for a metallurgical vessel comprises a slide plate with a first orifice and a fixed plate with a second orifice. A slideable tray supports the slide plate and is arranged to slide the slide plate relative to the fixed plate so as to control an outflow of the metallurgical vessel by the relative position of the first and second orifices. The slide plate is rotatable relative to said slideable tray. The sliding gate valve further comprises a ratchet mechanism for providing defined angular positions of the slide plate. The ratchet mechanism is mounted on the slideable tray such that the slideable tray forms the fixed frame of the ratchet mechanism.

摘要： In a rotary nozzle brick body formed into a substantially egg-like shape in its plan view, the present invention secures a contact area of a nozzle portion and improves a configuration factor which considerably affecting the durability of the body.
A rotary nozzle brick body is characterized in that the external shape in plan view is comprised of first circular portions (G), second circular portions (H), third circular portions (K) and tangent lines connecting the first circular portions and the third circular portions so that a substantially elliptical shape is formed by increasing the circular portions and shortening the tangent lines, instead of a substantially egg-like shape having long tangent lines.
Since the substantially elliptical shape is formed by reducing the linear portion of the brick body in its plan view while the shape is expanded circularly, the contact area is maintained even if the sliding plate brick is rotated up to its full-opened state, thereby eliminating a fear that molten steel or the like may leak.

The brick body for the rotary nozzle is characterized in that the outline thereof in plan view is formed of a first arc part (G), a second arc part (H), a third arc part (K), and a tangential line connecting the first arc part to the third arc part, and the generally oval shape with a long tangential line is changed to a generally elliptic shape by additionally providing arcs and shortening the tangential line. Since the straight line parts of the outline of the brick body in plan view are shortened and formed in arcs to form the brick body in a generally elliptic inflated shape, the contact area can be held even if a sliding plate brick is rotated to fully open and the possibility of leaking of molten steel can be eliminated.

摘要： A poured molten metal quantity control device, comprising a fixed brick, a collector nozzle brick, and a slide plate brick hold therebetween each of which has at least one molten metal pouring hole, an outer race installed rotatably on the outer peripheral side of the fixed plate brick by an extensible unit, and a frame having the slide plate brick fitted on the outer race so as to be opened and closed through hinges. The frame can be opened and closed through the hinges independently of a rotating means operated by the extensible unit. The outer race is rotated by a crank mechanism having triangulation points comprising an indication pivot (P1), a rotating center (P3), and a pivot (P2). The positions of the triangulation points are set to match the fully opened and fully closed positions of the molten metal pouring hole, and the stroke end and start positions of the extensible unit.
