摘要： A method for operating a node of cellular network, wherein a node of a cellular network receives a plurality of IP packets from a sender of a distributed real-time application, inserts the received IP packets into a queue, extracts the inserted IP packets from the queue and transmits the extracted IP-packets to a receiver of the distributed real-time application the node measures queue times of the IP packets between a respective insertion into the queue and a respective extraction from the queue, randomly selects a calculated percentage of the extracted IP packets and marks each randomly selected IP packet when a measured queue time corresponds to a congestion of the queue, the percentage being calculated dependent of a marking propability function; a method for operating a distributed real-time application and a computer program product.

• forwarding (120), by the network elements (3a-3e), the data streams (5a-5g) to respective next-hop network elements (3a-3e, 4) wherein, at least in case of congestion on a link (2a-2e) to the respective next-hop network element (3a-3e, 4), the forwarding of "preempting" data streams takes precedence over the forwarding of "preemptable" data streams; and
• forwarding (130), by the border network element (4), the data streams (5a-5g) received from both segments (1a, 1b) based on the priority labels (6a-6g) and the classes (7a, 7b) of the data streams (5a-5g), to at least one next-hop network element (8), wherein, at least in case of congestion on a link (2f) to the next-hop network element (8), the forwarding of "preempting" data streams (5a-5g) takes precedence over the forwarding of "preemptable" data streams (5a-5g),

摘要： Systems and methods are provided for congestion notification in network communications, including multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) network communications. In one or more implementations, an MPLS node that receives a data packet and detects congestion may generate a cloned copy of the data packet, add congestion information, such as a congestion notification label and a congestion notification header, into the data packet, and forward the cloned copy with the congestion notification label and the congestion notification header to a next MPLS node. The next MLPS node may, responsive to receiving the cloned copy with the congestion information, provide one packet with the congestion information to a subsequent node, and another packet with the congestion information to the node from which the cloned copy was received.
