摘要： This application relates to the field of optical communication, and discloses an optoelectrical assembly, a light source pool, an optoelectrical switching device, and a control method for the optoelectrical assembly, to improve efficiency of the optoelectrical assembly. The optoelectrical assembly includes a voltage conversion circuit, an optoelectrical semiconductor device, an optoelectrical detection circuit, and a controller. The voltage conversion circuit is configured to: provide a bias voltage to the optoelectrical semiconductor device, and adjust, by changing the bias voltage, an output optical power output by the optoelectrical semiconductor device. A differential resistance value Rdiff of the optoelectrical semiconductor device within a range of a target optical power satisfies 0.1 Ω≤Rdiff≤50 Q, and the differential resistance value is a ratio of a voltage variation to a current variation corresponding to the voltage variation. The optoelectrical detection circuit is configured to: detect the output optical power output by the optoelectrical semiconductor device, and output a detection signal to the controller. The controller is configured to: determine a control signal based on the detection signal, and output the control signal to the voltage conversion circuit, where the control signal is used to adjust the bias voltage.

摘要： Embodiments of this application disclose a method for determining a power compensation value of an optical signal and a related apparatus, to improve stability of signal transmission. The method in embodiments of this application includes: obtaining a first optical signal and a second optical signal, where the first optical signal is an optical signal obtained by performing wavelength adding or dropping on the second optical signal; detecting first optical power of each waveband in the first optical signal and second optical power of each waveband in the second optical signal; calculating, based on the first optical power, a first optical power variation that is of each waveband of the first optical signal and that is used after the first optical signal is transmitted from a transmitting end to a receiving end, and calculating, based on the second optical power, a second optical power variation that is of each waveband of the second optical signal and that is used after the second optical signal is transmitted from the transmitting end to the receiving end; and determining a first compensation value and a second compensation value based on the first optical power variation and the second optical power variation, where the first compensation value is used to compensate for total power of the first optical signal and the second compensation value is used to compensate for a power spectral slope of the first optical signal.

摘要： Embodiments of this application provide a method for determining an optical signal power change and a power calculation apparatus. The method in the embodiments of this application includes the following steps: A first optical signal that includes a plurality of wavelength signals is obtained, where the plurality of wavelength signals are distributed in a plurality of bands, different bands correspond to different wavelength signals, and each band includes a wavelength value of at least one wavelength signal. Then, an optical power of each band and a center wavelength signal of each band are detected, and a preset single-wavelength transmit power and a preset coefficient are obtained. Next, an equivalent quantity N of equivalent wavelength signals is determined based on the optical power of each band and the preset single-wavelength transmit power, and an equivalent wavelength signal corresponding to the first optical signal is determined based on the optical power of each band and the center wavelength signal of each band. Further, a target power that is used to compensate for a first power change value of the first optical signal in transmission over an optical fiber is determined based on the preset coefficient, the equivalent wavelength signal, the equivalent quantity, and the preset single-wavelength transmit power.

摘要： Systems and methods for using a dispersion compensation circuit to directly modulate a laser. Techniques include calibrating a varactor bias point in a dispersion compensation circuit during manufacturing, but positioning the dispersion compensation circuit between a first attenuator and a second attenuator. Each attenuator, capable of reducing power of an input signal, may be adjustable so that the attenuation provided by each attenuator may be adjusted. The ratio of attenuation between attenuators may be adjusted based on either chirp of a laser or fiber length, and a varactor bias point may be adjusted by the other one of the chirp of the laser or fiber length. Thus, both chirp and fiber length may serve as a basis for adjusting attenuation between attenuators having a dispersion compensation circuit positioned between them.

A laser array outputs a plurality of laser signals (which may further be modulated based on electrical signals), each of the plurality of laser signals having a wavelength, wherein the wavelength of each of the plurality of laser signals is tunable based on other electrical signals. An optical router receives the plurality of (modulated) laser signals at input ports and outputs the plurality of received (modulated) laser signals to one or more output ports based on the tuned wavelength of each of the plurality of received laser signals. This reconfigurable transmitter enables dynamic bandwidth allocation for multiple destinations via the tuning of the laser wavelengths.
