The transmission member, at the time of transmitting the power, widens the displacement of the actuator.

    • An image-capturing apparatus and a quantity-of-light regulatory mechanism comprising: a pair of quantity-of-light regulatory blades (16, 17) for regulating quantity of light by opening or closing the optical path of an image-capturing optical system; a base article (26) having a transmission aperture (26a) serving as the optical path of the image-capturing optical system for movably supporting the pair of quantity-of-light regulatory blades; a turning arm (27) having engagement pins (27b, 27b) to be engaged with each of the pair of quantity-of-light regulatory blades slidably for moving abreast the pair of quantity-of-light regulatory blades; a driving motor (18) for turning the turning arm; and an auxiliary regulatory blade (23) for opening or closing the transmission aperture by being moved in the same direction as at least one of the pair of quantity-of-light regulatory blades; wherein at the time of obstructing operation of the transmission aperture the transmission aperture is obstructed in a state in which the area where the quantity-of-light regulatory blade moved in the same direction and the auxiliary regulatory blade are overlapped in the thickness direction gradually decreases; and wherein at the time of opening operation of the transmission aperture the transmission aperture is opened in a state in which the area where the quantity-of-light regulatory blade moved in the same direction and the auxiliary regulatory blade are overlapped in the thickness direction gradually increases.
