    • An electronic scale includes: a scale body 2 that has a top surface provided with a weighing tray 5 on which an object A to be weighed is to be laid and a display portion 6 which displays a weight of the object to be weighed; and a lid member 3 that is capable of closing the top surface of the scale body 2 and that is capable of opening and closing. A camera 12 that images the top surface of the scale body 2 including the weighing tray 5 and the display portion 6 is provided on the lid member 3. Alternatively, the camera 12 is provided on the top surface of the scale body 2 and the lid member 3 includes reflection means that reflects an image of the top surface of the scale body 2 including the weighing tray 5 and the display portion 6 toward the camera 12 when the lid member 3 opens, on a surface of the lid member 3 that faces the scale body 2. The electronic scale is capable of simultaneously imaging the object to be weighed and the displayed weight of the same and eliminates need for a special support structure to support the camera for imaging, and the top surface of the scale body can be closed when the electronic scale is not in use.

    • [Object] To provide a device with a relatively simple configuration, which is capable of suppressing generation of convection in a weighing chamber according to opening and closing of a door of the weighing chamber to the minimum. [Solution means] A weighing space 5 is partitioned into upper and lower two spaces with a partition plate 4, to form a weighing chamber 7 smaller in capacity than the weighing space 5 thereunder, thereby configuring the device to settle down the convection in a short time even when convection is generated in the weighing chamber. In addition to this, suspended walls 9a and 9b are attached to the side edges of the partition plate 4 adjacent to doors 10a and 10b along the opening and closing directions of the doors 10a and 10b. Even when the door 10a or 10b is opened, a layer of warm air stagnant in the upper space of the weighing chamber 7 is restricted or blocked in the amount of flowing out to the outside of the weighing chamber 7 by the suspended walls 9a and 9b, and as a result, convection may be not generated in the weighing chamber 7, or even if it is generated, the amount thereof is tiny, which settles down in a short time, which has no adverse effect on a weighing operation. Further, the upper space can be utilized for another purpose such as a neutralization chamber.
