- obtaining a planned route of the vehicle;
- computing a state of charge of the battery along the planned route, wherein the state of charge is determined by distributing use of the electric motor over the planned route while allowing priority use of the fuel engine over depletion of the battery to decrease fuel consumption of the fuel engine over the planned route;
- outputting control instructions for the vehicle to follow the computed state of charge along the planned route.

There is provided a control device for a hybrid vehicle that can reproduce behavior of a conventional manual transmission mounted vehicle at the time of engine stalling.
[Solution]
A control device is to be mounted on a hybrid vehicle including an engine (2), a manual transmission (4) connected to a driving wheel (6), a clutch (7) configured to be switched between an engaged state where power is transmitted between the engine (2) and the transmission (4), and a release state where the power is not transmitted therebetween, and a motor generator (3) to transmit power thereof to the driving wheel (6), a gear stage being switched according to an operation of a clutch pedal (71) and an operation of a shift lever (40) by a driver. The control device includes the control device includes an ECU (10) configured to perform a pseudo engine stall control of reducing a motor torque in a case where a motor rotational speed falls below an MG idle rotational speed in an EV mode, wherein the ECU (10) performs, upon performing the pseudo engine stall control, a rotation suppressing control of suppressing rotation of the driving wheel (6).
