摘要： A machine for forming a carton from a carton blank. The machine includes at least one mover including a picker for picking the carton blank from the hopper and associating the carton blank with the mover. A controlled motion track is provided for moving the at least one mover and picker along a path of travel to a stationary position for engaging the carton blank in the hopper. A further aspect relates to maintaining a suction force on the carton blank during conveyance, including along a linear portion of the track associated with a lugged conveyor for assisting in erecting the blank into a carton. Another aspect relates to a rotatable bucket for receiving and supporting the product, and a controlled motion track for positioning the bucket and associated product for delivery to the carton. 摘要： A carton transfer assembly (10) having a rotary feeder (26) that rotates a series of selectors (27) about a transfer path (13) between a carton feeder (16) and a transport conveyor (14). The selectors (27) each include vacuum engagement members (97 and 98) adapted to engage a selected carton (11') to remove the selected carton (11') from the carton feeder (16) and carry the carton (11') toward a transport conveyor (14) as the rotary feeder (26) rotates the selectors (27) about the transfer path (13). Each selector (27) further includes stingers (110) that are operated off of the vacuum applied to the cartons (11) by the vacuum engagement members (97 and 98) to move the stingers (110) between extended and retracted positions. As the vacuum is applied to the stingers (110), the stingers (110) are retracted. When the vacuum is disengaged, the stingers (110) move to an extended position to engae and spread apart the panels (17 and 18) of the cartons (11) to open the cartons (11) prior to the deposit of the cartons (11') within the carton pockets (23) of the transport conveyor (14).

摘要： Method and apparatus for manufacturing spout-equipped bags in which the lateral sides of a bag (11) are gripped by a pair of grippers (3, 3), the bag is conveyed along a conveying path, and a spout is attached to the bag mouth during the conveyance. Unloading suction members (13) adheres by suction to a bag in a horizontal orientation and takes out the bag (11); and then bag suction members (36) adheres to the bag (11) and changes the bag into a vertical orientation, the bag is then rotated through a predetermined angle, making the bag mouth horizontal. A transfer chuck (52) grips the bag (11) and conveys it towards grippers (3, 3), and the bag is displaced a predetermined distance horizontally and supplied to the grippers. The horizontal displacement distance of the transfer chuck (52) is set in advance such that gripping margins on the bag (11) for the grippers (3, 3) are made substantially equal on the left and right of the bag (11).
