摘要： A feeding fence for cattle stables, comprising at least one horizontal profile girder (3) and a number of passage openings each adapted for the head (16) and neck (17) of a piece of cattle with a catching apparatus per passage opening which is operated by the cattle. The catching apparatus each comprise at least one spike (15) pivoting on a fixed part of the fence and being movable parallel to the plane of the fence, said spike (15) being fixable in the catching position by an unlockable, central lock, which has a movable operating rod which extends along the feeding fence for the common locking or unlocking of the pivoting spikes.
The novel device comprises an operating rod (18; 118) which is mounted substantially inside the horizontal profile girder (3) and cooperates with the upper ends of the pivoting spikes (15; 115) so that the locking device is protected against soiling and disturbances or mal functioning.
