摘要： A multi-component feed system to feed two fluid materials from a feed tank to a spraygun is described. The combined pressure feed tank comprises a pressure feed tank (1) with a lid (2). Inside the tank (1) is a removable support structure (3) having a cone-shaped member (4) with a central chamber (5) supporting a second container (6) closed by a lid (7). A splash-proof membrane (8) extends between the inner wall of container (1) and the outer wall of container (6), to protect a second fluid component (B), e.g. a catalyst, from entering the lower chamber (5) of tank (1). Air is fed to containers (1) and (6) via regulator (14), regulator pipe (14a) and lid (2) through aperture (7a) in lid (7). Pressure air feeds component (A) via tube (10) and component (B) via tube (11) to a spray gun, where components (A) and (B) combine to be sprayed.

摘要： The present invention relates to floating roof storage tanks (1), having a tank shell (2) which is supported on a fixed base (3), and a floating roof (4) supported by the liquid (17) stored in the tank (1). Included in the base (3) or roof (4) is a displacement means (18,51) to substantially displace the stored liquid (17) when the floating roof (4) is in its lowest position. In this way the volume of the heel of liquid (17) unable to be removed from the tank is reduced. The displacement means can take the form of a container (51) which protrudes downwardly from the roof (4), or a layer of ballast on the base (3) of the tank. The ballast layer can be a liquid (18) heavier than the stored liquid (17) which can be retained in a dam (30,40) if desired.

摘要： A microfluidic valve assembly includes a structure defining a microfluidic fluid path and an actuator that can be moved between different positions controlling flow through the channel. In one embodiment, the actuator can be threaded into at least a portion of the structure, and can be moved rotationally between a first position, causing relatively greater constriction of a microfluidic fluid path, and a second position causing relatively lesser constriction of the fluid path. Actuating the actuator, e.g., by rotation, can deform material between the valve and the fluid path, thereby constricting at least a portion of the underlying fluid path and regulating the flow of a fluid in the fluid path. In another aspect, the invention provides a reservoir into which fluid can be placed and from which fluid can be introduced into a microfluidic system. In one embodiment, the reservoir is expandable and thereby able to store fluid under pressure for delivery to a microfluidic system.
