摘要： A Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)-based communication method is provided, including: a VoIP terminal initiates a call service request to other terminals through an Internet Access Service Provider (ISP) and a VoIP service provider (VSP) with which the VoIP terminal is registered and receives call service requests initiated by the other terminals to the VoIP terminal so as to implement call services with the other terminals. A VoIP-based communication system is also provided. The disclosure supports a VoIP terminal to connect with a VoIP service provider through an Internet access service provider so that call services can be initiated and a calling VoIP terminal can accomplish call services through an Internet access service provider and a VoIP service provider with which the calling VoIP terminal is registered, thereby re-defining a relation between the Internet access service provider and the VoIP service provider, making clear a charging principle and accomplishing support for VoIP communications.

摘要： Disclosed is a unified messaging system and method for combining a voice-mail system with an e-mail system. The present invention is a hybrid event driven system that polls a universal e-mail box for receipts, with the voice-mail system being fully event driven. The present invention maintains two persistent log-ins to the universal email box, one to deliver messages and one to read message receipts. Thus, the system and method does not need to log-in and -out or read the entire list of messages. The present invention uses a file system instead of a state database. The system and method acts in real time such that messages in the unified messaging systems are synchronized within a pre-determined real-time. The system and method uses a “fail-safing” technique in which, after copies of messages are made and stored by each messaging component, allows one system to work if another is down.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for writing a message and transmitting the same in a mobile terminal are provided. A keyword analyzer analyzes an input keyword written in a messaging window. A clip manager retrieves contents corresponding to the analyzed input keyword from pre-stored contents, and extracts and stores the retrieved contents as a multimedia clip that may be included within the message in place of the keyword. The contents can be music / video files pre-stored in the mobile terminal or stored on a remote server. The extracted multimedia clip corresponds to a portion of the music / video contents containing the keyword.
