    • A printed monopole antenna is disclosed including a first printed circuit board having a first side and a second side, a first monopole radiating element in the form of a conductive trace formed on a side of the first printed circuit board, and a second monopole radiating element in the form of a conductive trace positioned adjacent the first monopole radiating element, wherein the first monopole radiating element is resonant within a first frequency band and the second monopole radiating element is resonant within a second frequency band. In order for the first and second radiating elements to be resonant within different frequency bands, the conductive traces for each have different electrical lengths. No direct electrical connection exists between the monopole radiating elements, but the second radiating element dominates at a frequency in which the second radiating element is approximately a half-wavelength so that coupling with the first radiating element occurs. The first and second monopole radiating elements are formed on the same side of the first printed circuit board, separate sides of the first printed circuit board, or on separate printed circuit boards.

    • The present invention discloses an antenna radiating element and an antenna, where the antenna radiating element includes a pair of crosswise disposed dipoles and parasitic element assemblies; the parasitic element assembly is disposed in an included angle formed by two neighboring dipole arms of the crosswise disposed dipoles; the parasitic element assembly is fastened to the dipole; and a radiation signal transmitted by the dipole is reflected and converged by using the parasitic element assembly. In embodiments of the present invention, an antenna radiating element can be formed by additionally disposing parasitic element assemblies around a pair of crosswise disposed dipoles. The antenna radiating element has a very simple structure, may be directly formed by sheet metal parts, and is convenient to process and manufacture. In the embodiments of the present invention, the parasitic element assembly performs secondary reflection and convergence on a radiation signal transmitted by the dipole, so as to generate new radiation, which helps expand a caliber of an original dipole, thereby converging a beam width of an entire antenna on a horizontal plane. This achieves an effect of reducing a volume of the entire antenna, the antenna has a simple structure and a light weight, and therefore both production costs and maintenance costs are reduced.

    • The invention comprises an antenna structure particularly suitable for mobile stations operating on two frequency ranges. As a supporting component and also as component determining the electrical characteristics the antenna includes a dielectric plate (21). On one surface of the dielectric plate there is a radiating element (22) with a meander form, and on the opposite support of the dielectric plate there is a planar radiating element (23). The operation on two frequency ranges is based on the fact that the structure has two resonance frequencies, which are relatively far from each other. The strips are further relatively wide, due to which the antenna operates satisfactorily in different positions and in the vicinity of objects. The parasitic element can further have a gap operating as a separate radiator, whereby the antenna operates on three frequency ranges. The antenna according to the invention is flat, and therefore it can be fixed to the back wall of a mobile station, and the distance to the user's head is as large as possible.
