摘要： Pre-paid transaction card systems and methods are described. A transaction system can include a transaction database to store transaction objects that represent characteristics of a pre-paid transaction card. A deal engine communicatively coupled with the transaction database can receive an image of a marker-less portion of the transaction card and derive a set of image descriptors from the marker-less portion. The deal engine can also identify transaction characteristics associated with the card from the transaction database using the image descriptors. In addition, the deal engine can construct a deal recommendation based on the transaction characteristics previously identified. The deal recommendation can be transmitted to a user, and in some cases, displayed to the user as an augmented reality image.

摘要： The interactive authentication system allows a consumer to interact with a base station (14), such as broadcast media (e.g., television and radio) or PC, to receive coupons, special sales offers, and other information with an electronic card (10). The electronic card (10) can also be used to transmit a signal that can be received by the base station (14) to perform a wide variety of tasks. These tasks can include launching an application, authenticating a user at a website (18), and completing a sales transaction at a website (17) (e.g., by filling out a form automatically). The interaction between the base station (14) and the electronic card (10) is accomplished by using the conventional sound system in the base station (14) so that a special reader hardware need not be installed to interact with the electronic card (10). The user is equipped with an electronic card (10) that can receive and transmit data via sound waves. In various embodiments, the sound waves can be audible or ultrasonic (which can be slightly audible to some groups of people).

摘要： The present invention relates to electronic payments in a mobile communication system. In particular, the present invention relates to methods and arrangements for secure transmission using SMS in a mobile communication system. In a method according to the invention data and a PIN-code are stored in a memory in a mobile terminal. A first bit sequence is created from the data and the PIN- code where different 8-bit combinations represent each character of the data and the PIN-code. Next the first bit sequence is encrypted using a PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)public-key to create a second bit sequence. A sequence of characters is then created from the second bit sequence, where each character in the sequence of characters is represented by an 8-bit combination. The characters are then transposed to 7-bit characters to create a third bit sequence which is transmitted to a server using SMS. The data, the PIN-code and the first bit sequence are also erased from the memory in the mobile terminal.
