    • A planetary friction transmission mechanism includes elastic planetary rollers (9) disposed between the outer ring (13) and one of the drive and driven shafts (3; 7) acting as a sun roller and carried by the bearing retainer (10) which is connected to the other one of the drive and driven shafts. The application of this mechanism to a rotor type open end fine spinning machine enables its driven shaft holding a spinning rotor to rotate at a far higher speed with extremely reduced noises, as compared with the prior art.
