The operations include establishing a baseline parameter for at least one physical parameter of a nozzle or a valve associated with at least one combustor of the liquid fuel system 16 with at least one time. The operations also include obtaining one or more operational parameters associated with the liquid fuel system from one or more sensors 62 during operation of a gas turbine engine 22. The operations further include utilizing an operational model of a fuel flow divider to output an action associated with the liquid fuel system based at least on the baseline parameter and the one or more operational parameters.

摘要： A fuel delivery system for a gas turbine engine that employs a technique for purging fuel delivery tubes in an effective manner. The fuel delivery system includes at least one multifunction valve that has a flow through position and a bi-directional purge position. The fuel delivery system also includes at least one flow divider that is positioned downstream from the multifunction valve and divides the flow of fuel from the valve into a number of the fuel delivery tubes, where a separate fuel delivery tube is provided for each combustor in the engine. The flow divider includes a pump element for all of the fuel delivery tubes that can operate in a forward and a reverse direction. Purge water provided downstream from the flow divider for each of the fuel delivery tubes can be pumped by the flow divider when the multifunction valve is in the purge position.

The turbofan engine includes an engine case that has an inner volume within which at least a gas turbine engine is mounted, and a bypass flow passage that is defined by an outer fan duct and an inner fan duct and that is configured to direct fan air flow therethrough. The heat exchanger is disposed within the turbofan engine, is coupled to receive fluid and cooling air from the bypass flow passage, and is configured to transfer heat between fluid and the cooling air. The door is movably mounted in the turbofan engine and is movable between a closed position, in which the cooling air will not flow through the heat exchanger, and an open position, in which the cooling air may flow through the heat exchanger.

摘要： An engine fuel control system includes a fuel metering valve operable to control the flow of fuel between a supply line and a delivery line which delivers fuel to burners of the engine. The fuel control system further includes a fixed displacement main pump which receives fuel from a low pressure (LP) source and delivers the fuel at a first high pressure (HP) to the supply line. The fuel control system further includes an augmenter pump which receives fuel from the low pressure source and delivers the fuel at a second high pressure (HPa) to one or more fuel-pressure operated auxiliary engine devices. The fuel control system further includes a start valve which is actuated at low engine speeds to open a flow path which diverts fuel delivered by the augmenter pump away from the auxiliary engine devices to the supply line to augment the fuel delivered thereto by the main pump, the start valve being actuated at higher engine speeds to shut the flow path.
