摘要： The invention relates to a metering pump having a hydraulic drive mechanism (12) for making a pressurized hydraulic fluid available. The metering pump further comprises a housing (2), a reciprocating piston (3) which is accommodated in the housing (2) such that at least one first and one second hydraulic chamber (9-1, 9-2) and one first (6-1) and one second delivery chamber (6-2) are formed, and an adjustment means which is coupled to the reciprocating piston (3) so that the movement of the reciprocating piston (3) can be limited such that different minimum and/or maximum volumes can be adjusted for at least one of the delivery chambers (6-1, 6-2). The reciprocating piston (3) has at least one first drive surface (10-1) near the first hydraulic chamber (9-1) and at least one second drive surface (10-2) near the second hydraulic chamber (9-2), the hydraulic chambers (9-1, 9-2) communicating with the hydraulic drive mechanism such that the reciprocating piston (3) can be moved to and fro by the hydraulic fluid between a first and a second position. During movement of the reciprocating piston from the first to the second position, the volume of the first delivery chamber (6-1) is increased and the volume of the second delivery chamber (6-2) is reduced. During movement of the reciprocating piston from the second to the first position, the volume of the second delivery chamber (6-2) is increased and the volume of the first delivery chamber (6-1) is reduced. The invention further relates to a metering system for mixing two fluids and to a metering system for metering at least one fluid.

摘要： Presently disclosed is a hydraulic pump device and its use thereof, especially in a fluid delivery system. In one embodiment, the fluid delivery system is an inexpensive, single-use device for slow dosing medicament applications. The fluid delivery system may employ a spring-compressed bellows crank or other combination of simple mechanisms operating according to the well-known peristaltic principle to force a volume of ultrapure bio-inert hydraulic fluid through an aperture, thereby expanding one chamber of a two chamber hydraulic cylinder. The second, fluid storage chamber, containing the medicament, is emptied through a conventional orifice in response to the expansion of the pump chamber. The medicament may thence flow through any suitable infusion set into a patient removeably attached thereto.

The pump includes a cylinder and a reciprocating piston received within the cylinder, the reciprocating piston separating a first pump chamber from a second pump chamber of the cylinder. A reciprocating motor is coupled with the reciprocating piston, and the first and second pump chambers alternate between filling and evacuating conditions with reciprocation of the reciprocating piston through operation of the reciprocating motor, and the speed of reciprocation is varied to provide a continuous output of fluid between the first and second pump chambers. A fluid source and a catheter are optionally coupled with the double action infusion pump. The catheter includes one or more infusion ports near a catheter distal portion, and the one or more infusion ports receive and expel the continuous output of fluid from the double action infusion pump.
