    • It is an object to reduce the pumping work, and to improve the fuel consumption rate by preventing the injection path part of a fuel gas supply device from protruding from the wall surface of the inlet path, and reducing the circulation resistance against the sucked air. There is provided a gas engine fuel gas supply device in which a fuel gas flows along the axial direction on the outer circumferential side of an inlet valve rod 4, and is supplied into the inlet path in a cylinder head. In the device, in the inner circumferential surface of a sleeve 6 slidably fitted with a projection 5, the project 5 being a portion of the inlet valve rod 4, having an outer diameter larger than the inlet valve rod 4, and being concentric with and in parallel with the inlet valve rod, there is provided a suction hole 6b situated within the region of movement of the projection 5, and to be opened and closed in response to the movement of the inlet valve rod 4, and a fuel gas injection hole 6a is formed in the bottom end face of the sleeve 6 communicating with the suction hole 6b. The device is characterized in that the sleeve is disposed so as not to protrude into the inlet path.

    • It is an object of the present invention to achieve the improvement of the combustion efficiency in the combustion chamber and the improvement of the fuel consumption rate by forming, in the inner circumferential surface of a sleeve into which a projection provided at an inlet valve rod is slidably fitted, fuel gas injection holes situated within the movement region of the projection of the inlet valve rod and opened and closed with the movement of the inlet valve rod, such that the fuel gas injection holes are each formed in an ellipse, to thereby lengthen the injection period of the fuel gas injected into an inlet path and promote mixing with the supply air through the inlet path. There is provided a fuel gas supply device for a gas engine in which a fuel gas flows along the axial direction on the outer circumferential side of an inlet valve rod (4), and is supplied to an inlet path (2) in a cylinder head (1). The device is characterized in that fuel gas injection holes (6a) to be opened and closed with the movement of a projection (5) are provided in the inner circumferential surface of a sleeve (6) into which the projection (5) is slidably fitted, the projection (5) being provided at the inlet valve rod (4), having a larger outer diameter than the inlet valve rod (4) and having a portion concentric with and in parallel with the inlet valve rod (4), and in that the fuel gas injection holes (6a) are each formed in an ellipse, and the opening upper and lower end region part of the ellipse is situated within the movement region of the projection (5).
